We really liked the Sheraton, all of the staff were very accommodating. The dining room staff were outstanding. Food was very delicious! At first we thought that the location was far from downtown, but we found it to be a good location. We walked down and took cabs back. It was very reasonable and generally a five minute up the hill. We had a wonderful vacation! Pool, sauna, hot tub, too!

We loved staying at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland!! It is in the middle of everything! We walked to Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi, and downtown to George Street. McCarthy's Party tour bus picked us up at the door for the day trip, and a variety of restaurants are a close walk away...and in the hotel. Kudos to Regan, Morris and Beverly working in the Bivver bar and restaurant!! There friendliness and excellent service made it a pleasure. We also had amazing housekeeping staff!! Wonderful place to stay.

Great location and had exceptional weather which is uncertain at best in St Johns. Walked around . Beautiful scenery and sights. Full of history and great places to eat. Attended a dinner show with Spirit of Newfoundland which was an awesome tribute to Roy Orbison music . Definitely worth an evening out. A great stay.

Check in was a nightmare, first they down graded my room without telling me but was changing me for the higher priced room. (King bed room). She stated they had none left, yet there was even some still showing. Then after 15-20mins she finally says ok we can do a king room. Then we proceeded to the second room, the key cards didn’t work! Twice. Then to top it off we had to go back down because she inputted my information wrong and I couldn’t connect to wifi. She was rude, never explained anything about the menu or QR code. Parking was limited, and lacked security. Best part of the stay was clean room, and the maintenance man was so polite. I ran into the maintenance man twice on our stay both times it was a pleasure. We have never been so disappointed in a Marriott stay before in our lives to date, till this one. Hospitality, and kindness goes a long way!

Had housekeeping try and get in at 9am, maybe before while we were still sleeping. Woken to a bang of the door on the latch across, glad we had put it across last night. Checkout wasn’t until 12, and someone trying to barge in at 9am without being notified that we had checked out.
