Our family recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Malta, and it was the perfect choice for our son's birthday celebration. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our trip special. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find our room beautifully decorated. This thoughtful gesture was a delightful surprise for our son and set the tone for a memorable stay. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, offering ample hanging space, a large TV, and a comfortable bathroom. The roll-out bed was ideal for our two children, ensuring a cozy night's sleep for everyone. The hotel's prime location was another major plus. We were within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the local area. We also want to give a special shoutout to Raja at the restaurant and Hoque at the front door. Their warm hospitality and helpfulness truly enhanced our experience. Overall, our stay at the Hyatt Regency Malta was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation.

Amazing stay!!
We first heard about the Hyatt hotel as my brother had held his wedding reception there, so when I saw that there was a Hyatt in Malta I thought it had to be good. It was as wonderful as I thought it would be. Service was impeccable in every aspect - from breakfast staff, to bar staff to check in. The people working at Malta's Hyatt really are an asset to the hotel and I hope they are commended by management as well as by guests. I would rate the breakfast as superb. Amazing buffet breakfast. Something for everyone. Beds were so comfortable and a the rooms a nice size. Bathroom was also wonderful. Just an amazing place to stay if staying in Malta.

Absolutely brilliant stay here - the service was fantastic and the quality of the facilities was of a high standard. We stayed for two nights and had a really comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff also went out their way to mark my husband’s birthday with no mention of it from our side. Would highly recommend.

This is not a property that is on the water unless you are at the rooftop. Service and staff is excellent. We were given a room where ac did not work and had to change the next day. I heard another guest complaining for the same issue. Breakfast is excellent and recommend. Easy access to mall across the property and other area in St Julian.

Great hotel with great staff and great service. As we stayed for our anniversary we were delighted when they arranged for some room decoration and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. They even upgraded our room to one with a balcony, however during our stay there was building work going on and were woken nearly every morning by drilling into the exterior wall that was connected to the room we were moved to. We very much appreciated the upgrade but would’ve been nice to be warned about the noise which put a dampener on an otherwise great trip.

The staff make this a 5* hotel. It's a little awkward to get in and out of. Left out of the main entrance leads you to the busses and across the plaza and down through the shopping centre is also a good way to avoid steep roads. Avoid rooms ending 01. I was in 101 and paid extra for a balcony only to find a temporary tower directly to my left, a building site to my right and an office meeting room a stones throw away looking directly into my bedroom. The privacy mesh doesn't do a complete job. It was initially too hot to use the balcony anyway so it became a drying area. You have to pay extra again for a plaza view. Debatable if it's worth it. Only blot on my visit. Breakfast in Seed restaurant is excellent and has all elements covered in the buffet. Complimentary tea coffee and water in the room with an empty fridge to use (oddly they don't put the water in the fridge!) . Roof top pool can get busy and windy. Seems to rely on the weather to heat it. WiFi has improved since last time I visited but TV casting disconnected every day requiring reconnect. Bit of a faff. Overall given a good room, I'd stay again.

Our room was at the back and would have been nice to let some air in but the windows were not openable. Staff were exceptional, in particular Justin, Matthias and young Dutch lady at breakfast :-)
