Stay at Eagle House November 24
Nice hotel, friendly and efficient staff, breakfast and dinner nice, only minor complaint was it was a bit noisy during the night asuming this was due to people using the shared bathroom, we had an enduite which was large with an nice view over the garden.

I’m glad we only stayed for one night. We were met by a lovely guy who showed us the facilities garden, bar and breakfast room. Very hospitable However when we walked upstairs to our room everything was extremely dated, carpet very dirty and smelt musty and old. When we got to our room, it was the same, smelt, no wonder the window was open when we arrived. The carpet was filthy and the bathroom well, it also smelt the Lino wasn’t even fitted or on the floor properly there was a big bubble in the middle. The shower was a complete waste of space, hardly any water came out and when it did it went from cold to absolutely scorching, then very quickly went cold. Wasn’t able to have a shower so washed in the sink The bed was comfortable but due to how dirty everything else was we were very uncomfortable sleeping in it so slept on top of the bed We was wary about staying for breakfast but took the plunge, it was good, hot and edible

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The facilities have been refurbished and offers a bar and restaurant with delicious food. It was a lovely quiet stay within walking distance of the gardens in St Leonard’s as well as Hastings and the old town. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

This was cheap and cheerful hotel. The staff were lovely and friendly and helpful especially the 2 on the front desk. The room was fine. The bath had some stains on it which I did mention and they went and checked but weren't removed. (They were stains rather than dirty marks so would need a good scrub with something strong) one of the beds was so hard and uncomfortable sleeping was near impossible. The other bed (was a twin room) was better but the mattresses were both quite old and could do with replacing. The bathroom was simple and basic. There were sachets of shower gel which were very hard to open and there was a soap bar which was fine. If you need more toilet paper you do have to ask as you only get the one. And if you need a hairdryer you need to ask for one.

Really happy with our stay, would visit again. Looks recently refurbished, friendly staff, and a great breakfast included which was a bonus. Our door was faulty and the shower a little tricky, but other than that it was great.

A lovely hotel
Very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Lovely hot shower with good water pressure. The TV had plenty of available channels and good reception and the bed was so nice i didn't want to get out of it. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a very nice breakfast included in the room rate. A nice bar too....all with a friendly welcoming smile. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
