Goods and not so good
I had some difficulty with the complexity in securing this rental. There seemed to be a lot involved in setting up the rental and it appeared to be an "us against them" kind of attitude. The apartment is in a good location for visiting St. Louis. It is close to the hill, the art museum, Barnes Hospital and the Missouri Botanical Garden. It is reasonably priced for the amount of space and number of beds. The kitchen is well set up with a stove with an oven, a large refrig, and a dishwasher. It has adequate plates, cups, silverware etc and is clean. The only spoons were like table spoons. There is a coffee pot. Be sure to bring salt, pepper, sugar, coffee as there is no food elements other than some cream pods. The stairs to the apartment were steep and difficult to manage because the rail doesn't reach to top of the steps. The door to the living room is right at the top of the stairs. If someone turned the wrong way from the living room they would fall down the stairs. The first step down is a long step that requires holding onto the edge of the living room door to make the first step safe. Bring a stair block if you have small children. The level of sound coming from the heating/cooling system is a problem. At max volume Closed captions were necessary to understand the speech from the TV, The remote did not work at first but I got it to work by improving the contact with the batteries. Perhaps the TV isn't used much with the difficulty hearing it.
