My bed is clean and comfy! I always love that hotel use all white beddings and overall the room is clean and tidy. The area in St Charles is what makes me decide to stay here. Very safe and quiet.

I’d give 0 stars if I could
The front desk people are not very friendly. I booked through Hotels and the pictures of this hotel are 100% a lie. This hotel looks nothing like the pictures provided. There’s a terrible smell coming from downstairs and when we got to our room it has a lingering smoke smell and the floors smells like urine. I booked a room for up to 4 people and we ended up having 3 adults and a child in our room and they made a big deal about it and told us we had to pay them $20 in cash. Their hotel has NOT been serviced. There is no documentation anywhere that it’s up to date in servicing and it looks like it’s going to break down. The number one button is smashed in and the floor is actually breaking. The continental breakfast they claim to provide is just sad. A few pieces of toast, 2 bagels, some cereal, and a waffle machine. Coffee tastes like dirt and old crusty powdered creamer packets were provided. When we asked for clean towels, because one of them had a giant hole in it, the front desk person made a huge deal over it and we didn’t even get them. We had to ask again. Also the light above our sink went completely out, they never came to replace it when notified. There’s no cable tv, the lamps are disgusting, and everyone woke up feeling broken from how cheap the beds are. Provided photos of elevator, lamps, and “breakfast.” I was here for my best friends wedding and needed to be close to the venue. Which is why we booked this hotel.

Definitely not rebooking a Baymont hotel again.
I booked the hotel for Wednesday and Thursday i didn't show up on Wednesday but i showed up Thursday morning at 6:30 to check in. The clerk was extremely unhelpful with seeing if i can check in or if i could stay late because she doesn't know the status of the room. It would be nice if a customer is willing to pay extra to stay late and pay extra to check in early to work with a customer. But I guess thats just Baymont by Wyndham of St. Charles Customer service definitely not a good look.

My hotel room phone was not working. I had to leave the room and go down to the front when I need something. The tv did not come with a list. The tv set up was wired l. I had to tURN EVERY SINGLE channel to get to what I like to look at.

Nasty odor throughout the building
It smelled awful. I have to wonder if there hadn't been widespread water damage ... perhaps that afternoon? We hoped the smell would be limited to the hallways but no, room smelled awful, too. We tried our best to fall asleep as soon as possible, and set an early alarm to get out as soon as possible. It was sort of hard to find the hotel -- our navigation had us snaking through a nearby apartment complex parking lot, and there were no obvious signage to help us figure it out. Our room's door handle didn't work properly. And the computer system was down at checkout, so no receipt (and one was not emailed to me, even though I left them an address when they asked for one). They are renovating the place -- they have a huge job ahead of them.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Adjacent to one restaurant but nothing else that can be walked to. The exterior of the building needs some work but you can’t tell that from the inside. Really comfortable beds!
