My family and I reserved two rooms for our stay due to the proximity to the amphitheater for a concert. The distance to the venue was hard to beat. The hotel looks appealing from the outside. The elevator floor tiles were all busted up. The east end of the hotel was all blocked off for remodeling. Once to our double queen suite the pungent smell of urine was overwhelming. The walls and ceiling of the bathroom were stained and covered with patches. The tub had large areas of rust and what looked like paint on the floor of it. The bathroom mirror was losing its coating all around the perimeter. The whole suite was damp. The room directly across the hall that we were also given also suffered from being very damp. Items placed on the beds would be cold and damp when picked back up a short time later. We were in a time crunch and were unable to try and locate a different place to stay at this point or I certainly would have walked out of this place.
The hotel did offer a shuttle to and from the concert venue which was a slight bonus. Our return driver was awfully reckless taking a van full of passengers around medians and into oncoming lanes as a shortcut.
I was told on arrival that breakfast was served until 9:30 am. The following morning we entered what appeared to be a repurposed conference room for breakfast at 8:30 am. We found that the normal hotel hot breakfast fare did not exist. All of the pans for sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, etc. were empty.
