Internet was out. Said it was out since a week ago. They are in a middle of painting and redo internal and external area. Breakfast was eh. Not the best Best western and not the worst. Ehh. But has potential (maybe after they."fix" thr guests internet and finish and cleanup the renovations

Overall, wasn’t a fan of this hotel. The carpet in the hallways looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a while. The continental breakfast was your average selections. But the worst part was the staff. Hard to understand their English and when we checked out, the man from the front desk came running outside to question me about my dogs even though the front desk person the night before approved their stay. I wouldn’t stay here, especially if traveling with pets.

Never was able to check in. Was pre paid with key cash and the clerk said that they had not received payment. I decided to deal with it later with Hotels.com after a 16 hour day and was told I could run a credit card instead. He ran multiple cards multiple times saying they were all declined. My credit card statements say otherwise BTW so I had to waste time dealing with that as well. I was unable to secure my reservation and stayed elsewhere.

Great place to visit!
Darling old hotel. No help with bags and parking is one floor down.. fui. But this is an old building that has been remodeled into a fabulous hotel.. 10 ft ceilings on 3rd floor. Close to museum, river, shopping, eating.. loved st Charles!!

Checked in and the non-smoking room reeked of smoke. Went to the desk to ask for another room. Desk employee was kind and moved us to a “suite”. Also smelled of smoke but not as bad. Turned the water in the shower all the way to hot and it got like warm. Not even close to hot. Water pressure was also bad. Not all the lights in the room worked. Upon check out, I told the desk person about the water and he didn’t even respond. Won’t be back.

Limited breakfast hours (3 hours from 6am-9am). After coming in from a 29 hour drive we were not greeted and the front desk agent was on a personal phone call the entire time upon checking us in. He talked too fast to understand and mumbled as well. The rooms were alright but below average. They are doing work on the inside and outside of the hotel so there was a lot of construction stuff everywhere.

The property was in the midst of remodeling which was the only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars on each area. Our overall experience was very favorable and would definitely stay here again. The breakfast buffet was exceptional compared to the other places we stayed offering scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes.

Beware, stay away…it isn’t ready !
The hotel was being renovated and my window was covered in plastic, the hall was covered in dirty smelly stuff and when I first got there, there were beds lined up on the wall. You had to scan your key then hit the door with your shoulder to get in. They wouldn’t move me or let me out of my reservation. The pool was closed over July 4th without me knowing ahead of time. If that isn’t enough, they forgot to clean my room on my 2nd day. When I reported it, the guy said I could come get towels… not bring to me and didn’t understand enough English to give me coffee for my room! I did have one guy that came up and fixed my tv and remote. He was the only friendly face of the whole weekend. The breakfast was so sad, I didn’t even attempt it on my check out day.

Nice hotel. Pleasant stay.
Nice hotel. Quiet area right near Interstate. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Decent breakfast. Undergoing renovation which should make it like new again. Renovation is separated from guest rooms. Nice room. My only complaint is the air conditioner would get overly noisey sometimes.

Lots of issues here. We were first sent to a room that was already occupied. The breakfast was subpar, and the electricity in part of the room - needed to cook waffles and keep potatoes and eggs warm - wasn’t working, and the staff couldn’t figure it out. There was also a barely clothed woman (likely a prostitute) walking around.
