Excellent Service and VERY COMFORTABLE BED
As a New Yorker with a penchant for schlepping across cities, I have to say the Hollander is an absolute gem! Perfectly situated in the heart of St. Pete, it’s within walking distance of all the key sites—museums, parks, and enough cute coffee shops to keep your caffeine buzz going for days. My lover and I felt like we were smack dab in the middle of everything, which meant no kvetching about long drives or parking spots. Now, let’s talk about the bed. It was so comfortable that we both slept like logs—or, as my bubbe would say, "like two briskets snug in a slow cooker." Honestly, it’s rare for me to get a full night's sleep in a hotel, but here? Dreamland. The pool area is pure Florida charm, with just the right mix of tropical vibes and chill. Picture us lounging like two queens of leisure, sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun. The restaurant? Solid! Not the kind of place where you’d propose marriage, but definitely a spot where you’d happily say, “Let’s order another round of fries.” All in all, the Hollander has style, comfort, and a great location—it’s a mitzvah for travelers like us. If you’re heading to St. Pete, don’t pass this place up. Just don’t forget your sunscreen; no one wants to schlep home looking like a lobster.

This hotel is located within walking distance of museums located in downtown St Petersburg FL. One of its charms is the large front porch with plenty of seating for guests to settle in with a book or converse with other guests. It's such a pleasure to sit outside to chat & people watch. The restaurant/bar on the 1st floor of the hotel serves a good breakfast & also very good coffee. We tried dinner but we weren't impressed. Staff is so very helpful & courteous too. The free parking is also awesome; however, the restaurant/bar draws people from all over so sometimes you need to park in the outlying parking areas. This is our third stay at the Hollander & we plan on staying here again in the future.

The hotel was loud. Very heavy traffic noises. I could also hear the neighboring rooms alarm clock go off. The first floor of the hotel is beautiful. Very well designed. Good food at the restaurant. We ended up cutting our stay a day short due to the noise.

Cute boutique hotel with all amenities.
We love the Hollander Hotel! This trip we stayed a whole week to visit with local family for the holidays. The staff and service are still top notch. They bend over backwards to attend to your needs and are super friendly.... even during the stressful holiday crunch. I gave condition and comfort a "4" only because it is an old building with its expected flaws. (Nicks in the door molding, etc. that really don't matter.) The shower in our room was inconsistent with temperature. However; our flight home was canceled last minute at night, and they were able to accommodate our return and we had an upgraded room. The shower temperature was not an issue as in the previous room. We had opted to stay an additional night (NYE), which they had a room in their other property next door (Avalon). While we were having a de-stress cocktail in the crowded lobby bar, the receptionist walked over and found us, and advised that there had been a cancellation on our room the night after our stay, so we had a choice of staying put where we are, or still going next door to stay the following night. We felt that was very personal service exceeding normal expectations. The holiday decorations in the lobby make you feel at home, and it is also enjoyable to hang out by the lovely pool. There is a bakery with delicious desserts and pastries. The food is great either inside, out on the front porch, or poolside. We will definitely be back!

Sorry about the angle, but the tree is gorgeous. There is also a gas fireplace to sit by. Feels like you're at home.
