We love it here. The staff is wonderful! It is a small, older hotel with 3 different types of rooms. Rooms with beds, tv, fridge, microwave and bathroom. Other rooms have all that and stove and sink for cooking. You can also get rooms with what the other two have and a living area. If you are wanting something like the Ritz, this is not the place for you. It is beachfront but the beach is wide and you will have a walk to the ocean. You can watch the breathtaking sunsets from the patio tables or the balcony, if you have a room upstairs.
There are fees for things I consider reasonable. Like, getting rid of the fishy smell from seafood being cooked in the room; replacing a lost key and cleaning dishes you should've cleaned yourself. It is steps away from groceries, restaurants (VIP, Britt's, Gigi's, Sloppy Joe's), shopping and ice cream shops. Pool closes at 9 and the lobby closes at night.
It is close to 2 inflatable slides (one wet, one dry), a bounce house and small personal trampolines to play on for a fee. You can rent cabanas, umbrella and chairs, kayaks and paddleboards at the same location.
We will be back and recommend it for people that don't want to complain about the few rules and fees that are in place.
