The room we were given to stay in was 3/4 ok and 1/4 like a tear down. I was going to take a picture of the bathroom sink, but it was so bad no one would have believed it. The sink was plugged up from the minute we used it. The bathtub also ran so slow the tub filled with water to the top before I was done (less than 10 minutes) and the warm water ran out after two people took showers.
The beds were wonderful and very comfortable and the tv worked well. There was a microwave and a refrigerator. When we arrived the fridge smelled like fish. It also was warm. We did ask for that to be fixed- and the very nice desk attendant fixed it immediately.
The way they have the check in process seems logical- if you arrive after 9:00pm, they are supposed to give you a code. The doors have key pads(punch in a number). The only problem is that if they send the code to the wrong email, then don’t have any way to reach them after 9:00pm(like a phone or email or text that someone looks at occasionally) you either sleep in your car until they call you back or you get a different hotel room at 2:30am and try to sleep!
The location itself is amazing, which really did make up for a lot of the bad things. I don’t think we would stay there again either way, especially for $450 a night! Of course it’s my fault for paying that due to it being spring break and all, but the shape the bathroom was in was inexcusable, even to say that it was being remodeled- it was literally rotting away.
