3 Bedroom House and Pool with Spectacular views of Charlotte Amalie Harbor

Vista Amalie offers photo worthy views of the Charlotte Amalie harbor from the master and second bedrooms, living room, pool deck, and the lanai. The master bedroom even has a private balcony to enjoy your morning coffee in peace and tranquility. Sunsets of the harbor cannot be missed.

The house is located entirely on one level. The common areas are open concept while the bedrooms offer separation and privacy. All bedrooms have private in-suite full bathrooms. Multiple sliding doors connect the indoor and outdoor living spaces. The house is fully air conditioned and supported with a whole house generator for when the power goes out.

We are a leisurely 15 minutes stroll or an easy 3 minutes drive away from the crystal clear Marriott Morning Star beach. We are a short drive to the island's other fine beaches like Megan's and Smith Bay. Load up your vehicle with the beach chairs, towels, and cooler we provide. For the more adventurous, Red Hook is only a short drive where you can catch the ferry to St John's or the BVI's.

The house comes stocked as you would WANT. As we want. This is our second home. Everything is here!!! If you don't see it listed ask us. It's probably there.

We and our local property managers will ensure your complete satisfaction from stocking the house prior to your arrival, to restaurant recommendations (Mimm's is our favorite), to who to rent your car from, to recommended activities. We have you covered.

Beautiful views amazing home!
Wonderful, very well appointed home had everything you need for a wonderful week. If we used anything we just replaced it. The home has open air rooms great views of the the islands, the cruise ships and the island jumper planes, huge pool, great furniture and beds, three bedrooms and three baths. washer and dryer on the same floor, covered back porch. Amazing Place to stay if you ever get to St Thomas, if you ever get to this wonderful home please check out spa on the go the best massage I’ve ever!!! We get one every time we go!!

Stunning view, well-equipped kitchen and fun in the pool!
Everything about the home itself was perfect for our family and was exactly as described. The home owner and property manager were very polite and pleasant to work with. The only reason we wouldn't stay here again is due to the condition of the roads going up and down the mountain. A few of our family members get car sick (which happened daily) with the very bumpy ride to and from the house. It's not an option to walk to restaurants, shops or activities based on the location on the mountain and the very narrow, winding and steep streets.

A beautiful home with amazing views! Property manager was excellent, answering any questions that I had. House has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, perfect home for our group. This home also had the basics that you would expect to be found in a home, such as salt, pepper, basic spices, PAM, paper towels, etc. We were able to use the beach chairs and beach towels in the home. Would highly recommend this home.

As Amazing As The Photos
The house is in a great location and has outstanding views, especially at sunset. The pool is also really fantastic. It looks big in the pictures but is even bigger in real life! The house is conveniently located 15 to 20 minutes to all the great beaches and restaurants on all sides of the island and is very well cared for... I've rented plenty of houses and the grill is always in rough shape, but the grill here was immaculate. The owners are very responsive and provided great instructions and suggestions. We chartered a boat with Cy at Fun Hog it had a great time snorkeling with our kids. Can't wait to come back!

Peaceful and Great Location
This house is very private and peaceful, and it has a creek behind it so it sounds amazing when you’re in or outside the house. The neighborhood was perfect to walk my dogs everyday and get outside and enjoy some fresh air. There was a few maintenance issues, no deal breaker, and I would rent here again. It was a good stay.

A true oasis!
My family of 5 stayed at Estate Bakkero during a destination wedding. The pictures show how wonderful the home is. What the pictures don't express is the level of comfort and ease Estate Bakkero offers. We highly recommend it and would rent it again.

This place makes you feel at home. It has everything you'd need for an extended stay. It even came with a fully stocked bar which was cool. The views are amazing and the property manager made sure everything ran smoothly while staying here.

"THE" Hidden Gem on St Thomas
This property was phenomenal...truly a hidden gem on the island that I would give more than 5 stars if the system let me. My only hesitation in leaving this review is that I don't want more people to find out about this place because I do not want the competition in trying to book this villa :). There is so much to say about this place ins hard to know where to begin. This place was the perfect retreat for my wife, 2 young adult boys and their respective girlfriends and myself to escape from the winter and into paradise. The home is exactly as described with a bdrm/bth for each couple while also providing a very comfortable living room and open concept kitchen that worked perfectly for mingling, conversation and just hanging out while making coffee/drinks/food and getting ready for the day. And when I say every comfort of home is there, it is so true we felt like we were in our own kitchen because there was nothing else you needed, the bathrooms had plenty of towels, laundry soap let alone beach towels, chairs, etc. They truly are renting you their home and leave little for you to worry about other than a quick trip to the grocery store for food/drinks. And even then, Leah made sure there was some food/drinks in the fridge when we arrived knowing it was a long travel day. Now, to move outside to the patio/pool this is the area you will undoubtedly spend all your time at, or at least we did!! The view is to die for, exactly what is pictured with a gorgeous view of the bay into Charlotte Amalie, Water Island and the ocean while also incorporating a beautiful sunset in the evening. Many a morning we had our morning coffee/breakfast and lunch on that patio. The view and atmosphere is so peaceful and serene just watching the cruise ships and other boats come and go. And the bluetooth speakers they provide create the perfect atmosphere for relaxing out there all day. There is plenty of sun available for those who need to work on their tan but also the covered area with 3 fans make it very comfortable all day long. And when you do get hot, take a dip in their pool. The pool is very large and nice and deep so you truly can enjoy swimming in the pool and not just being able to wade or stand in like other Villa's pools. Obviously we all loved this place and look forward to going back next year. I would write more but VRBO has a word limit. Truly thank you so much Tony/Bex/Leah.....we will be back to enjoy your home next year!! Cheers!

Outstanding Stay
Thank you Tony! Our stay was tremendous. We were a group of 6 women, in St Thomas to visit friends and celebrate a special birthday. This house was a great place for our group. spacious, clean, and a perfect location for our stay since we had some other friends staying at the Marriott. Then there was the patio and pool area: Perfect! That view was to die for and the outdoor area had plenty of comfortable seating, a grill (we didn't use), the pool and some pool toys. We ended up getting in late in the day due to flight cancellation but Tony was quick to reach out to let us know he would be available to help once we arrived. He was very helpful while we were trying to find the house in the dark, had lights on for us, unlocked the door remotely and even had some chips and salsa waiting on the counter for us. By the way, the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need and more. Beds were comfortable and the house is located in a residential area, so pretty quiet at night (we are not a rowdy group so this was perfect too). Internet was good throughout the house Communication with Tony was good. Payment process was smooth. I highly recommend this property for your stay in St Thomas!

Beautiful Home!
We rented this unit last minute due to an issue with another property. I messaged Tony regarding a last minute stay and he responded within minutes! Not only was he compassionate, he made his unit available immediately for my family. Once we got to the unit, we couldn’t have been more pleased. Amazing views, private pool, and a beautiful home. The entire home has adaquate air conditioning (which is nice on the island) and a generator (the power does go out on the island frequently). I wish we could have rented this unit for the entirety of our vacation, I can’t say enough about the unit and the owner. The property manager, Leah, was also helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. She was in touch throughout the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Tony for an amazing finish to our family vacation!

Great Views - Very Private
We loved our stay at Estate Bakkero. We had five adults staying comfortably at the property (us and our children). The house was very well furnished - including beach chairs so we didnt have to rent these everyday. The house was private, with a wonderful view of the harbor and a great swimming pool/patio. We were able to watch as several cruise ships arrived/departed, and were able to experience beautiful sunsets every night. The views could not be matched. The house was away from town, so a rental car is a must. But the location was pretty convenient, in that we were between shopping and the beaches. But off the beaten path, for sure. Bakkero Estates is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The owner was very helpful with suggestions and communications, and Leah was very helpful too. They helped to make this a wonderful family vacation.

Amazing family vacation
There is a reason that this property has such good reviews. Its awesome. My husband and I stayed on the balcony as much as possible which had breathtaking views both day and night. The home was perfect for our family of 5. We had plenty of room to spread out. The place is beautifully decorated with plenty of seating. I was worried that I should bring things like hand soap and dish soap with me but was thrilled to see that they were at the home. Leah, the property manager was very responsive and answered my many questions quickly. I highly recommend staying at this home and hope to come back again.
