The stairs are a challenge, as well as parking. Noise seems to stop after 10 pm. Staff are accessible & helpful. In general, everyone on the island over-charges (chair rentals on the beach $55./person; really?). Not everyone on the mainland is wealthy. I do not take advantage of people & don't appreciate greed or charging whatever you can get away with.

There were cockroaches in the room, no hot water, AC did not work, light fittings did not work, and bathroom sink was leaking water. The property lacks maintenance. Parking is a nightmare. On top of all this, they charged me twice (my Paypal account and Amex credit card). Needless to say that it ruined our vacation. Take your business elsewhere.

Place is good in the hood. Walking distance to everything in town. Put ac on and it’s all good. Older property but right at the mark in terms of price point. Good breakfast. And friendly staff. There are steps that you got to walk up. If you do not like that or cannot do that then look for a different place. Now!

We were only here one night on our way to St John and we enjoyed our stay overall. Our highlights were the walkable distance from downtown/restaurants/etc and the breakfast in the morning. We were in the triple room and it was essentially the basement. It was clean but there were no windows, which was unexpected. Also parking is free but pretty nerve racking with how narrow the streets are. There is parking right in front of reception, but we were nervous about parking there and being able to get out again the next morning because it was so tight on the street.

This was not a bad place to stay after our flight was cancelled but having to climb the stairs with all of our bags was the last thing we wanted to do. Also, there were no water bottles or water for purchase anywhere on the property. I have never been that thirsty in my whole entire life. I grabbed an ice water from the restaurant and kept it in my fridge to sip on throughout the night. The bed was very comfortable. My ceiling leaked all night.
