I really liked the view. The room was pretty nice and clean. The grounds were a bit dirty with litter in the parking lot. The food at the restaurant was just ok. My wife got chicken wings and they were so touch you couldn't stab a fork into them. The bartender offered no compensation. But the staff was generally very nice. Oddly the cleaning staff were the friendliest and most willing to help. The driveway up the hill to BlueBears has many broken down vehicles, one up on blocks which gives a general feel of unsafe when you first get there.. but then you realize thats just how most places look off the beaten path. If I was the owner, I would not allow those broken vehicles on the path up to my building. But all in all, it was a decent, safe place to stay and the price was right, so we were okay with it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable, we enjoyed having the cooktop and refrigerator. We had fantastic views out of room and enjoyed visiting the bars-restaurants. The food was great and the service. We also toured the castle which was very interesting. We walked to the property from the Ferry downtown. That was a big mistake, google maps showed the location elsewhere. It was a difficult walk with bags! It is very easy to get transportation from the property!
