A week in Stamford
It is an old hotel taken over by Wyndham. Staff was friendly. Room cleaning was cursory upgrades needed in the bathroom as the shower leaked and rust was showing on the toilet plumbing. Windows could be be upgraded to keep out the traffic noise from I95 a few hundred feet away

Please open a second entrance
Only having access to the hotel from 1 door is not sufficient. We should not have to park in back and walk all the way around the building. Breakfast was adequate, but would be much better with warm items like eggs, bacon or sausage.

First I take responsibility for getting a smoking room. So the floor was a smoke floor. The room was unbreathable. I asked the change rooms. Only to be told we were there for 15mins and I may have used the bed. We didn’t even take our shoes off, much less use the bed. After going upstairs the guys @ the front desk says. We full and i can’t change rooms. I’ll give u a spray. Ok, tell me you’re full. Not BS about us using the bed. Then the carpet was so disgusting. We had go and buy bedroom slippers so as not to touch the carpet with our feet. I didn’t sleep cause the bed was uncomfortable and the sheets may be clean but the blanket was not. I know this it’s home. But you expect soon level of comfort @ a hotel. The one good is the young man behind the desk did try. He was a nice person, who was just working with what he had. So thank you to him. But I will not be staying @ this hotel again. But if you traveling not a female alone. And need to stop. Go ahead One more the taco truck had good food.
