Excellent weekend adventure
My wife and I along with our two dogs had a lovely stay. The cabin was tucked away and very cozy. Great hiking nearby with beautiful views of the Delaware. We enjoyed exploring the area and the dogs loved the yard. The cabin was very clean and was fully equipped for a long or a short stay.

Awesome Experience
This is one of the best getaway stay I have been to. The property is well taken care of, and my favourite part is the little trail around the property. I can tell Sean spent a great amount of effort taking care of the place because the entire trail is covered with grass. The hot water in the cabin was also great: it comes in seconds.

We stayed there for an overnight for our 10 year anniversary. Cabin is walking distance to a riverside tavern and had a walking trail on the property. Would have liked more walking trails but it was a great stay! Highly recommend

Quiet relaxing getaway
This cabin was the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway! The owners were very welcoming with their quick responses and accommodations for our dogs. We really enjoyed being able to let the dogs have space to run as well as follow us around the full circle walking path on the property and even jump into the river in the two open areas. The cabin was always super warm and cozy to settle down in after being outside. We 100% would love to return next year!

Cozy Log Cabin
This was a perfect quick get away from NYC. Super cozy, and serene and beautiful. Host is super accommodating and responsive, thank you! The only side note I have is for those who are looking to travel with multiple parties/people, it is an open layout so you can hear everything. My husband and I spent an evening with my folks and my brother, and it was lots of fun and great! Def on our top list of fav places to stay close to NYC!

Relaxed, isolated and quiet. Exactly what we wanted and needed! When by the fireside we could hear civilization but were able to tune it out.😊 Thank you. This was a perfect reset for each of us. Appreciating the seasonal color change every day out each window was GLORIOUS!

Nice escape
Property was as advertised - we enjoyed our Labor Day weekend escape. Great little cabin. You can hear road noise from a rather busy highway but nothing crazy. Close and easy access to the river. Thanks for letting us stay.

We stayed at the Riverfront Cabin during French Woods visiting weekend. The cabin itself was great, and the property surrounding it was gorgeous. It would be an excellent space for those looking for a quiet getaway.

Glamping in Cabin Splendor
Wow! Want something fun and different, secluded and well thought out? This is the place! Just go and don’t worry about anything. It’s all there except your food. We stayed 2 nights and 3 days, a family trip for me, my son and my father in law for fishing, campfires, hiking and exploring all on the PA / NY border. Sean is a great host and the caning is beautiful!

Unique and fun
We enjoyed our stay in this ultra hunting themed log cabin. The hosts were extremely responsive. Location is picturesque, with a short path to the river. It was manageable if a little tight for a family of 4 for a short stay. Would have been tough for a longer stay because there wasn’t space in the kitchen to store food.

We had a great stay at the cabin! It was super clean, which is what matters most to me. It was cute, cozy and comfortable. Perfect for our short stay with our 12 year old daughter. She loved sleeping in the loft. Very cool decor and the water was close by.

Loved this cabin!!
Great cabin on amazing property! Check-in was a breeze, communication with owner was great, cabin is clean and cozy, and the property is perfect. We stayed as a family of four adults and two dogs and had such a great time. We fished, floated and kayaked in the river. The dogs loved the paths down to and around the river (so did we). We enjoyed the fire pit and the night sky is spectacular! We will most definitely be back!

Lovely Log Cabin
We enjoyed our 5-day stay at this cabin from beginning to end. Sean was very responsive to questions we had prior to he trip. The arrival and departure directions we received were very thorough. The cabin was spotless with all the amenities you can ask for. I highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful getaway.

This is a beautiful Cabin and acreage
This beautifully appointed cabin is a lovely getaway spot. The acreage provided two lovely days of exploration of the path to the river and wildlife abounds. The morning mist in the meadow made for a gorgeous setting for early risers. Hope to stay again in the winter season. Outdoor propane grill worked perfectly.

We enjoyed the extremely beautiful craftsmanship of the secluded cabin. It was very clean and a short (beautifully mowed path) distance from the cabin to a great stretch of the river. It was also close to town. The front porch was great with the rising moon in full view and the surrounding meadows full of lit up fire flies. You can, hear the road noise.

Delaware Fishing Trip
My wife, myself, and our two miniature schnauzers enjoyed our stay. We brought a small K-cup coffee maker since one is not available. Cabin is small but cozy. Not sure how six people could fit. But two is good. West branch of Delaware just 50 yards away. Caught a couple of brown and rainbow trout while there. River was really crowded with drift boats and kayakers during the week. My wife said that she thinks the cabin was decorated by a muzzleloading reenactor(smile). It was a great time and we will return next year.

Annual Fly Fishing Trip
Sean, We had the best year of fishing in over a decade. The property is awesome, and access to the water is easy. One silly item would be more hooks on the wall to hang clothing. Also, I wasn't sure how to turn on the baseboard heater in the bedroom. I turned on the bathroom and left the door open.

Great Getaway
The property is great. 10 acres on the river with path cleared for walking around. Sean was great to communicate with and allowed me to bring my three dogs. It was my first time there and I am going back for a week in October. The cabin itself has all you would want. Good wifi, tv and a smaller but very cold fridge. I spent a great deal of time on the spacious porch which has a three foot overhang so you stay dry when it rains. I was out there at 6 every morning with my coffee after walking the dogs to the river and back. Stores are 10 to 15 minutes away. It was a well needed and relaxing 4 days. Looking forward to October.
