Great place to get away from the graduation bustle of State College and to relax in nature. It was perfect for our family gathering. Hosts were great! Nice little town with a couple of restaurants and a good grocery store 5 min away.

Excellant
This is our second time staying at this property. The cabin is spotless, very well equipped, and so comfortable. My husband caught lots of 20 inch trout and was ecstatic. Unfortunately we had to leave early because of illness but Craig made it very easy for us. We will definitely be coming back, perhaps in the fall!

Creek side hideaway
It was a bit hard to find at night. The small bridge that you go over is very narrow and you MUST turn a quick left after it. There should be a sign right there with the street sign or a street light or something to tell folks to turn. The house is adorable. It is a good 35-40 min from State College through a windy roads with lots of farms and amish buggies to dodge. It was a wonderfully appointed house with comfy beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We didn't get to spend time in the lovely grounds but if you have time, it looked great.

Just right....
We truly enjoyed our trip to Coburn on the Creek. Craig was friendly, helpful, and a great communicator. The house offered everything we needed, from the large mud room to well-equipped space. I will say that we have stayed in more luxurious places, but this cottage offered everything we were looking for from the fishing, to beautiful views, to healthy environment, to excellent hosts. Try the nearby restaurant and brewery, too!

Coburn on the creek.
We had a great time at Coburn on the Creek. If you like to fish for trout, my husband says it is the best trout fishing in PA. The cabin was very clean, kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back next year

Beautiful, restful location
Our stay at Coburn on the Creek was perfect. The house has everything you need, comfortable seating throughout and comfortable beds, a nice patio out back with lanterns, and an expansive front lawn leading down to the creek. The mud room is a great place to land and stash shoes, etc. We were in town for a nearby wedding and found the property to be a perfect home base.

Long Weekend Getaway
We had an exceptional time at Coburn on the Creek. The hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful, but also gave us privacy. We came with another family of 4 so there were a total of 8 of us. It was the perfect size for our group. The kids enjoyed tubing in the creek with the awesome tubes provided and the adults enjoyed relaxing, especially by the fire at night. We ventured to state college for a football game, which was about a half hour away. Also had dinner in town at Elk Creek Alehouse, which was very good. We had a blast and hope to come back soon! Thank you.

Wonderful stay away
We had a lovely time staying at Coburn on the Creek. I wish we could have stayed longer because there were so many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Craig was a great host, very welcoming and chill. We found everything we needed stocked and ready. The outdoor spaces were marvelous! So many places to sit by the creek or back by the woods or in the garden. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic property and hosts
So happy we found this gem of a property when visiting PA to see family and friends and go fishing. House was just the right size to accommodate 4 adults and 2 young children. Plenty of beautiful outdoor space and activities for kids (tree swings, sand box, water table) and adults (great fishing right out the door). The hosts, who live next door, were fantastic. Very responsive to our questions before start of trip and throughout our stay. We loved our time here so much, we're ready to come back next year!

Enchanting Location
Coburn on the Creek was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We rented it to be near Penn State for our son's graduation. It is about 40 mins to State College which isn't too close, but was well away from the traffic and loudness of a big weekend on campus. My husband and sons are Anglers, so walking across the yard to the stream was wonderful. We had a fire out back on the patio one night - it was set up perfectly. It is a short walk to the local fishing store and as a runner, I loved following the creeks to the Coburn Tunnel for a Zen run. We had dinner at the Hublersburg Inn one night and also visited Penn's Caves (been on our bucket list for years). Lots to do if you like country. Our hosts were very attentive too. I highly recommend this spot.

The Best!
Stayed with a group of friends for the weekend. Really nice and unique property. Had direct access to a large portion of creek. Good for fishing, tubing (provided), swimming, etc. Home was well-kept and unique in its own right. Plenty of sleeping space. Great exterior spaces. Hosts are very nice and accomodating. Nearby if you need anything. Would certainly stay again.
