We picked this property for its location, view, and number of rooms. Those were all great. Otherwise, it was one of the worst stays ever. The place was very ill-maintained. There were tons of issues.
First, the check-in process was ridiculous. I kept asking for check-in instructions and did not get any. When I finally arrived at the property, there was nearly no cell signal. We were stranded outside in the cold for 40+ minutes. Had to drive back into down to call. Host argued that she sent codes 20+ minutes before check-in time. But I was unable to get it due to no signal. Was host in the right or in the wrong? You be the judge.
House was full of issues. Leaky windows, clogged drains, filthy washer, sheets/towels left in dryer, coffee mug left on window sill, broken cabinets, bedrooms with no closet/dresser, or closets filled with junk, same with garage. Unlockable bathroom. D/S TV has no connection & about to fall off the wall. Bunk bedroom was a joke; no adults could fit. Broken drawer in fridge, missing button on hood, loose hand rail. Mismatched lids/pots/pans. No baking sheets. More junk in kitchen drawers. Basically, every single person found some issues.
Prime location, and I even believe that this place was nice once. But it was obvious that Host did not care about it or your feelings. Cleaning crew was very sloppy. Oh yeah, and they even sent 2 online purchases to the property address while we were renting. Hopelessly sub-par and unprofessional. BYO toolbox!
