Good but….
Friday 12/6: Checking in was quick, easy & the lady at the front desk was wonderful. She had a lovely personality & we had a short conversation while we waited on the computer to find my reservation. Saturday 12/7: I went out to lunch with a few friends while my grandma stayed back in the hotel to catch up on sleep. When I returned around 3pm, she told me that someone from the front desk had called & asked if I “wanted company” in my room. She declined & the man on the other end said he would call back later. (If he did or not, I’m unsure, we were both gone from 3:30pm until well after midnight.) IF it actually was someone from the front desk, how very creepy. It’s creepy no matter what. Sunday 12/8: check out is stated as being at 11am. The new manager came knocking on my door at 10:15 telling me to check out. Normally I head out well before 10am but I had neglected my packing due to a long night at a public event in Gordonsville. I was under the impression I had 45 minutes to get my things together but he certainly seemed determined to get me out at 10:15. Other than the creepy phone call & the hasty “you need to check out” manager banging on the door 45 minutes before the stated check-out time, it was a pleasant stay.

Overall Comfort
Our room was very spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable. Our only suggestions would be to add room darkening shades as light filtering in from above and below the curtains was an annoyance for those of us who prefer darkness to sleep. Also while the worn leather couch is comfortable, it is very hard to get up from as its so low. Could also station the tv between couch and bed ao people have the choice to watch from bed or the couch.

If I were handicapped, I wouldn’t have gotten ice because it was on the second floor. They changed towels and did not remake the bed. No info book about local area restaurants nor a tv guide.

Not worth it sketchy hotel
For the price that we pay per night, the hotel is not worth it. It looks rundown and kind of sketchy. The breakfast area wasn’t too clean and it wasn’t appealing at all. We had breakfast somewhere else. They need to do a big renovation to continue charging the prices that they’re charging not worth it.

I stayed in the area for work, and I really liked how close this stay was to grocery stores/food options, as well as how close it is to getting back on the highway. However, even though I was in a non-smoking room, my room smelled of cigarettes. Not a huge deal, just something to be aware of. My one complaint is the condition of the towels. Even though they were "clean," they still had specs of dirt/hair stuck to them. Other than that, my room was pretty clean and quiet! I would stay here again for a cheap place to stay

terrible stay. We stayed for (3) nights and 2/3 days - housekeeping came into the room unannounced. No knock, just used keycard and walked in. To clean what? Not sure. The room was disgusting. Someone’s hair on the inside of the shower curtain, yellowed pillows, unknown stains EVERYWHERE. The view was nice - but the parking lot was full of sketchy people. Two vans with people and dogs living out it.

Couldn’t close refrigerator door due to ice buildup. The breakfast was LACKING. Coffee was weak and tasteless. No protein foods … but if you wanted unhealthy carbs, there were plenty. On the positive side, the mattresses were wonderful. Slept great.

LATE CHECKIN MIDNIGHT - ON ENTERING RM HEAT BLASTING 84 DEGREES! HAD TO LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN FOR 15 MIN AND TURN AC ON HIGH JUST TO BE ABLE TO STAND BEING IN ROOM. LINENS SOILED ON BED, FLOOR SOILED OUTSIDE BATHROOM, BATH FLOOR DIRTY, TRIED TO CALL FRONT DESK AND DISCOVERED THE PHONE DID NOT WORK! THE BEDSIDE LIGHT DID NOT WORK EITHER! CALLED ON CELL TO FRONT - WE GOT THE LAST ROOM - NO ALTERNATE TO CHANGE TO, DID NOT HAVE HOUSEKEEPING COME TO CLEAN OR EVEN BRING CLEAN SHEETS FOR ME TO PUT ON! HAD TRAVELED FOR HOURS, HAD TRIED MULTIPLE HOTELS - NO OTHER OPTION AVAILABLE AT THIS HOUR OR WE WOULD HAVE LEFT! ON CHECK OUT I COMPLAINED TO THE MANAGER - HE WAS UNAWARE OF MY PROBLEMS - I HAD CALLED HIM 3 TIMES SUPRISED HE DIDN'T PASS THAT ON!! AFTER LISTENING HE CALLED THE HOUSEKEEPER TO GO IMMEDIATELY TO CHECK OUT THE PROBLEMS IN THE ROOM AND TO LET HIM KNOW WHO HAD CLEANED THE ROOM YESTERDAY. HE SAID UNABLE TO COMPENSATE ME BECAUSE I BOOKED THROUGH 3RD PARTY AND THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO!!! TO SAY I WAS AND STILL AM UPSET WOULD BE PUTTING IT MILDLY!

great place for quick stopover
repeat customer - good for overnighting with dogs - rooms that face the pool in the interior courtyard are nicest - very big open grassy areas with fairly big pool and firepits and dog walking area actually make it a nice place to spend a few days - rooms facing parking lot don't less so but fine for a quick stay
