Western Lodge was great place go stay. Right on the heart of town it was walking distances to great food and drink locations. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and nice. Highly recommend this location.

The room was very cold. I called the front desk about the heater and nobody answered. I also went to the front desk but they were no where to be found. It was in the low 20s and windy last night. I had to put a towel under the door to keep the air from coming in. Will not stay here again.

I’d give it six stars if they had availability for another night. Sadly had to check out and into another hotel after a last minute decision to stay in steamboat for another night. Will be back.

This motel has been remodeled so everything was new. It is a basic hotel room. No frills but if you're just looking for a bed and shower it's great. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but good shower and water pressure. Walkable to stores and restaurants and bus line.

Excellent stay! The front desk host was very nice and welcoming, the room was cozy and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location downtown was great! I traveled with my service dog and they were very welcoming to dogs, made us feel right at home! The bathroom door did get stuck, so make sure you test it before going in, but the bathroom is very well hidden by a wall so it wasnt too big of a deal. I can tell they are still putting finishing touches on and cant wait to see it when its done. Will definitely stay here again!
