Really happy with this hotel, very clean, excellent breakfast. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the super king size bed was very comfortable. I have no problem with recommending this hotel.

An older looking hotel, large room, comfortable, plenty of free parking, buffet breakfast had variety. An adjacent pub style restaurant was ok for dinner, nothing else close by. Ten minutes drive to the iconic attractions.

Don’t book a family room
Horrific sleep. Family rooms are not fit for purpose. No room round the sofa bed to even get up to use the toilet in the night. I would not suggest anyone who needs more than one bed uses this hotel. I complained in the morning to be told they hear this all the time and the rooms aren’t big enough for 4 people. Not to mention the sofa bed is utterly horrific to sleep in. Really uncomfortable.

The rooms were very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed only one night but found the staff best friendly and accommodating. Breakfast selections were very good as well.

Outside of the town so wasn’t walkable but was great since we had a car and it had free parking, and clean comfortable rooms. Included breakfast was better than expected with hot options available. It was perfect for our one night stay on our road trip around Scotland. Staff were friendly and checkin/out was quick and easy
