For the price is a good hotel. There is no places to eat around. The hotel is based in the middle of industrial companies. 20 minutes walking for the train station and 5 minutes from bus station.

Arrived at the hotel after 500 km driving. Got the info at the desk that hotels.com /Expedia doublebooked 26 guests. Got a telefonnummer to Expedia support from the receptionist to solve this problem by ourselves. Spent 1 hour with customer service working from home in Fillipines... Got another hotel after a lot of checking from support. They should had called us and fix a new hotel for us in advance. Never gonna book with this company again.

The hotel once inside was fine, but the surroundings were awful, located on an industrial estate, no where nice to eat, there was a burger king several kilometres walk, when needs must!! The staff friendly and helpul enough, very clean room and breakfast was very good. I would not stay again, transport links were good but rather confusing. 3/10

It's cheap, that's what it is. 20 minutes walking distance to train station, or you can wait for bus to arrive to the train station. 2 stops away Stockholm Central station, so it's not going to spend a lot of time on transportation to get back to city centre.

Namnet?
Underligt att döpa hotellet till Älvsjö Stadshotell när det ligger i ett industriområde i Årsta. Väldigt svårhittat o helt offside, inte en affär eller restaurang i närheten. Bra pris dock o rent o snyggt o skön säng. Plus med kylskåp åxå. Men inte en enda hängare på rummet. En i badrummet som ramlade ner direkt när jag hängde den minsta handduken där. Frukosten helt ok förutom dom extremt överkokta äggen, där gulan va grön/brun i färgen. Väldigt gott kaffe som höjer betyget rejält. Krångligt, långt o svårhittat till tvärbanan, inga bussar i närheten heller, inga som gick mer än nån enstaka gång om dagen. Så kom inte utan bil. Så helheten blir ett billigt och rent hotell med dålig service o uselt läge.

Helt ok boende.
Negativt då vi anlände och det hade skett en dubbelbokning. Första natten fick vi tre enkelrum istället för två dubbelrum. Natt två och tre hade vi dubbelrum. Personalen bistod så gott det gick. Inte så trevligt område. Problem att hitta bra kommunikation. Allmänheten informerade om detta och då fungerade det bra. Dubbelrummen var bra med sköna sängar. Frukosten var ok. Ändå bra boende i förhållande till priset.

Hotell i industriområde
Hotellet ligger beläget vid Årsta Partihallar, så mycket tung trafik redan från tidig morgon. Exteriört så undrar man var man hamnat, men interiört överraskande god standard. Minimalt med personal, så man måste ofta ringa ett telefonnummer för att receptionen blir bemannad. Rummet väldigt fräscht, kändes nyrenoverat. Bra säng, klimatanläggning vilket var ett måste i 28 grader ute, bra TV-utbud och bra Wi-Fi. Frukosten sparsmakad men funktionell. Bröd, pålägg, frukt, youghurt, ögg mm men inga extra vaganser som bacon, korvar mm. Ska du övernatta söder om city och söker kostnadseffektivt bra boende 10/10. Söker du dock boende för en weekend i Stockholm, så ska du nog söka annat alternativ.
