Owners on property are in your business and wont stop staring at you. Left key in room and they acted like i did something horrible....No one is there past 10. They say but have a whole family living above the hotel. I would not go there if i was you

Value was good for the price. Not much selection in the area and the motel was affordable with clean comfortable rooms. The hotel staff was able to accommodate my requests during my five night visit. I would stay there again if I needed to.

This place is really awful. I wish I had taken photos of our room. No comforter (just a sheet on the bed), a clogged sink, and no Wifi, the front office was a mess, it was stinky, and I just felt dirty lying in the bed. I will not be returning to this hotel. For $194 per night, you'd think you'd get much more for your money. Just awful.

The photos shown during the booking are absolutely nothing like the actual room. No washcloths were given, the bathroom is the only updated part in the room, it smells musty, it’s very humid & wet smelling, there is no remote to the tv, the stairs are almost straight up & down & can be scary with luggage in hand. There are no directions for check out either. It is fairly quiet & the beds weren’t horrible but those are the only pluses here.

Four paws down - You get what you pay for!
You get what you pay for. The hotel was old, and off the main highway. The room smelled like mold and mildew. The front desk person was very friendly and nice. That said, when we decided to leave early due to the storm, then nobody knew anything about getting a refund for the night we did not stay. The worst part was that we could have dealt with all of those things, but then the microwave did not work, and we could not heat up the dogs' breakfast in the morning. Both us and the dogs give this place four paws down!

Value oriented with kind staff
This is a basic hotel for the value oriented traveler, and a bargain considering the area. It was surprisingly clean, and I did not find any evidence of insects. Although some of the decor decisions were not to my personal taste, everything was clean and in working order, and the room had been recently renovated. Here i would encourage the owners to redecorate in a style that American travelers understand and look for in a coastal area, i.e. blues, white, gray, and no shiny fabrics. The people working there, although their english is limited, were very kind and eager to help us have everything we wanted. The only downside was the door handle lock assembly needs to be replaced. It is flimsy and, unfortunately, you can not leave it in a unlock position if you need to run out to your car or something. Word to the wise, carry your door key with you, and bring plastic utensils with you if you plan to eat take out in the room. There was a clean kitchenette with microwave and fridge, but no plates, forks, spoons, etc., and the front desk does not carry these items. Lastly, this hotel is not accessible for travelers in wheelchairs. There are steps to get into the rooms, and no ramps that i could see.

Check in was fine. We got in the room to find it smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. My kids climbed into bed to find large clumps of hair in one of the queen beds. The whole place had a bad vibe. The pictures are very deceiving! We did not spend the night.

The dead bolt was very flimsy. There was no one in the office in the morning when I went to drop off the key. Another guest told me her room had fleas. It was scary, and I did not feel safe.
