About this property

Rustic "Wildwood" Wall Tent by the Stream

This glamping wall tent wraps rustic charm and sophistication all in one. Enjoy a romantic night with the sound of rushing water, the Ponderosas towering around you, and the mountain stars sparkling above. Tastefully furnished with heating, electric, queen bed, porch, and coffee station. The tent is on the bank of a rushing stream. Men's and women's bathroom and shower facilities are a few steps away. One queen-sized bed. Take a stroll over a little bridge to the wonderful Wagon Box restaurant, which is a family bistro with an espresso bar, tavern, and large deck for outside seating with an adjacent sandbox and Tonka toys. Inside there is also a Library where you can read from our wide selection, work from your laptop, play chess, etc. Get your food to go and have a picnic by the creek.
Story is a hidden gem in the Bighorn Mountains, an easy 25 min drive from Sheridan or Buffalo. Hardly out of the way if you are heading by on Highway 90. The town, population 903, is convenient for mountain climbing, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, and hiking trails, as well as several historical sites. It is also perfect for wildlife watching, and you will likely see deer and wild turkey from your window. You can easily walk to public trails, fishing spots, and even to a local outfitter’s corral.
Buffalo Mountain Outfitters does trail rides. It is adjacent to the property: (307) 217-2539 https://www.storywyoming.org
