. Comfortable
Less expensive than most in area. Outdated facility but clean and well cared for. Couple of minor issues with toilet (rocks, runs slowly but constantly). Would be great if on site restaurant served breakfast although a Continental is available. Indoor pool and Jacuzzi are pleasant but outdoor pool and game room were closed. Staff was very pleasant. One major issue for us... security. Not comfortable with easy outside access for one...more important was old fashioned key entry to rooms. Went to wrong room on way back from pool but key opened door anyway and allowed access.Fortunately no one in room at that time but was occupied later. Spent night with chair bracing door. Hopefully it was a rare coincidence but still disconcerting. Would still recommend based on cost but would pay attention to security.

Old school charm
Clean, comfy, family- and pet-friendly inn. The decor has a vintage 1980s feel, but the rooms were neat and clean and the beds were comfy. Short walk to Green Goddess Cafe (cute local place), 5 minute drive to Stowe, and 15 minutes to Ben and Jerry's. My son loved the indoor pool and hot tub.

The view from the second floor was extremely dull. The room temperature was 65 degrees F for no reason, 70-72 would've been normal after a hot day.

The place is a dump, ceiling tiles are missing and some rotting in the hallway. The room was clean, the smoke detector in the room was removed and never replaced, everything was dated. The grounds were okay. The lady at the front desk at checkout should not have a job at the front desk with her attitude. The cleaning staff were friendly. Never going back there.

This place is in desperate need of a update/make-over. We booked a 3-night summer stay with our 6-year-old granddaughter based on the description of 2 pools, indoor and outdoor, and a lake/pond out back with various boats to use. Upon arrival, we learned the outdoor pool had not been opened for the season, and the indoor pool was under repair. We were told we could "swim' in the pond, but it looked more like a cooling pond at a nuclear plant. Not a chance I would put my granddaughter in it. The room had flies in it. On the flipside, the staff was kind and gracious, allowing us to cancel 2 of our 3 nights, for which I am appreciative.

Think Twice
It was the first time I stayed there. Room was dusty and furniture was worn and partly damaged. Fire Alarms went off in the middle of the night and no one could guide anyone on what to do. I work for a fire alarm company and that was scary. Everyone thought it was a joke. Not everyone came out of the rooms. The toilet was loose and the base board had a broken piece on the floor.Windows looking out were filthy. I took pictures. Staff was nice. Food was good at the restaurant. Would I stay there again? I am not really sure, maybe.

The decor hadn't been updated in a few decades, though the room was neat and functional. The cable was touchy (some channels came in fine, others didn't) and the wifi was fine for surfing but not reliable enough for streaming. Convenient for what I needed though.

The inside is so outdated. Carpets everywhere are old, dirty and need to be taken out. The bed spreads are not cleaned after every guest. There are updated ways to clean comforters after each guest.

It was ok.
Got there a little early they let us check in. The hotel is dated. Was disappointed the pool was empty we did not get notified. There was a strong smell in the back hallway of urine. Not sure if it was dog or person. It was strong. The showers were really hot which my husband liked. The room was clean. The beds were somewhat comfortable. The noise, whoever was staying above us sounded like elephants. It went on till 10:00 pm started up at 4:00 am. Decent location. Got nice tips from gentleman at front desk.
