The Trapp Family Resort was established in 1947 when the Maria Von Trapp (Sound of Music) and her family opened an Austrian-inspired ski lodge. Today the Resort consists of a Main Lodge, Guest Houses, and Villas. Trapp is situated on 2,500 acres in idyllic Stowe, Vermont and boasts 30 miles of groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and mountain biking in the warmer months, making Trapp a magical four seasons destination.
