Have fun with onsite winter activities, including cross-country skiing and snowshoeing and in warmer months, enjoy mountain biking and rock climbing. After a day on the snow, enjoy a relaxing soak in the spa tub and an invigorating swim in the indoor swimming pool. As a fan of The Sound of Music this was always a place I wanted to visit and believe me, it did not disappoint! The grounds were beautiful. There was plenty to do, you really did not have to leave the property! Room was huge, clean and had a balcony overlooking the property. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious! Our waiter, Brian, was wonderful! Can’t wait to go back!

We love The Sound of Music, so we really enjoyed the historical talk and tour of the Trapp Family Lodge. We also loved the Beer Hall—great food and beer and wonderful service as well!

Lovely getaway place!
A superb mix of Austrian style with and American mindset (huge rooms with couches, tables... extra spaces and everything :), queen beds that are considered kings in any other countries in the world, an enormous pool, large everything really :)) while away from noises of roads and the town. The pool, fitness center and hot tubs are also above average. An outstanding hotel and location!
