You are a short walking distance away from transit, and 2 blocks from the metro skytrain (Main St-Science World station) that connects to Vancouver YVR Airport, and to regional bus/train connections, including Seattle and Whistler. You are facing a small side street with ceiling-high windows that will fill the home with the morning sun. This street-level concrete home is equipped with heating and a portable air conditioning unit (which you will need to exhaust through an open window), a desk for working purposes, all the home comforts to cook your meal or eat out at the many cheap to trendy, michelin star restaurants and bars. Free secure underground parking is available upon request.
**Exciting new development is happening in the area, with a new building going up across the street. Activity is generally from 730am-5pm Monday-Saturday with the noise somewhat variable and unpredictable. That said, we have received little to no complaints from guests who stay in the bedroom. Evenings are still quiet and peaceful.
Our home is more suited for solo and couples. There is a Sofa bed available for 2 more guests, though there are no black out curtains, and street noise would be more noticeable there.
As part of our condo's requirements to allow short-term rentals (many condos in Vancouver actually prohibit this), a signed Form K is required by guests prior to check in, which basically acknowledges adherence to the building bylaws. Please review the house manual for the link to the form.
