Fully renovated in 2023 to a very good standard, it is set close to the towns of Street, famous for its Clarks designer outlet village and Glastonbury, with its ancient medieval abbey and tor.
Inside, on the ground floor you have a fabulous open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay, whether you are having a light breakfast or a full meal! The dining area is perfect for eating or playing games of an evening while the living area has comfy sofas and a Smart TV, ideal to snuggle up in front of while catching up on the latest box set! Heading upstairs, bedroom one has a zip and link super kingsize bed, allowing for a couple to share or turn it into twin beds for friends or children! The second bedroom has a kingsize bed. Both bedrooms share a lovely ‘Jack and Jill’ en-suite shower room.
The local pub is just a 5 minute walk away, offering good food, local ale and a large beer garden, and is also dog friendly so you can bring your furry friends! Also with countryside on the doorstep with miles of local walks accessible directly from the property.
There is so much to do in the area, Street has many wonderful shops to explore, and the designer outlet is a must do, it’s a shopaholic’s dream and has plenty of restaurants to enjoy. Glastonbury with its eclectic mix of shops, ancient abbey and tor is just a 10-minute drive away or head to Wells, one of England’s smallest cities, and mosey around the cathedral, visit the market, or have a coffee in one of the many independent coffee shops. If you fancy something bigger, head to Bath and feast your eyes on the architecture or treat yourself to a luxurious pamper day at the Roman Spa Baths! For families, pop over to Wookey Hole Caves for the day, see if you can find the famous witch of Wookey Hole or head to Cheddar and see the mountains goats climbing through the gorge!
