This hotel is perfect for a traveler with nearness to highway and very simple checkin and rooms. The pub was perfect for an evening drink after a hard drive and the food was very good as well, service at bar great.
This hotel is like a high end truck stop right along the freeway; the attached restaurant is fantastic for local Basque meats, sandwiches, and other dishes, great beer and wine selection. Restaurant is very busy in the evenings and also offers a great breakfast for very little expense.
Rooms are quiet and clean; not a five star hotel but comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, a great place to get a good nights sleep and the attached restaurant and filling station make this a great choice for business travellers.
Perfect location right next to the motorway, but slightly tired looking, dated, and in need of modernization. It was fine as a place to sleep on my way to the Bilbao ferry port.

Disliked: Amenities
I didn’t like the fact my booking was to accommodate a pet & when I checked in they told me that my pet had to sleep in the garage as they no longer excepted dogs but wouldn’t recognise my booking from Expedia with this stated on it.
This was a super find as we were unable to complete our journey and needed an overnight stay before continuing our journey the next day.
This hotel was really easy to locate and upon arrival the welcome and check-in was superb.
Hotel rooms fantastic with large comfortable bed, modern bathroom with large shower. Access by lift to rooms. Restaurant on site eith brilliant food and service very good. Would not hesitate to recommend.this hotel.

Plus.....The restaurant is excellent value and the 24hr cafeteria very useful. As a dog owner the main reason for staying there is that it is dog friendly.
Minus...... I have used this hotel for over 15 years. The hotel rooms have become more and more shabby and although clean they are in need of renovation.
Great place to stop if you just want an overnight stop. Good food

Traditional truck stop
Initially thought "What have I let myself in for?" when I got to the room, an old style traditional Spanish style as opposed to a modern room and to make things worse it was only a single bed. I knew it was a single room when I booked it but still it very often happens there it's a double bed in a room, anyway who sleeps in a single bed nowdays?
So anyway in the end the room was totally fine, I moved the bed away from the wall and it made the room more cosy. And actually the bed was very comfortable, so there you go.
There's a restaurant in the hotel which is separate from the cafe/bar although what I chose was very small. The service was great, as was the price and the food was lovely, so all good.
In the morning if you've paid for included breakfast then you can choose what you want in the cafe/bar. This was one of the best meals in my time in Spain! I had proper tortilla, bread, cake, fresh OJ I was totally stuffed by the end of it. Great
Very good hotel. Driving up through Spain to France, easily accessible off the route I was driving. Lovely fantastic meal although chipperones were sold out :(
A great place to stop whilst on the road from Spain or Portugal to France
As the name well sais on the route to Europe. I was travelling on my own, a woman and the place was very adequate. the food in the restaurant was very good and the price is brilliant both for the food and the room.
all together a very good stopover, no pretentions just a very practical place on the motorway.

Very practical hotel
OK experience - but could have been much better had the check in given us some reassurance. On arrival they appeared not to be expecting us, - and when we then questioned a future booking , - they had it, but the details were all wrong......very worrying.
