Additional Notes:
-This home allows up to 4 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. There is enough parking for 4 vehicles.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Perfect getaway
We stayed here over the thanksgiving holiday and had a great time! Everything was clean and homey, the only thing to improve was the hot tub looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while so that was kinda gross…but other than that a great stay! our dogs had a wonderful time as well

House was beautiful. Great location. One bathroom was not working, dishwasher wouldn’t drain , the smell of sewer in the master bathroom was awful lack of communication was disappointing and the hot tub was filthy with a greenish film all around you could wipe off.

Great place and location!
Very nice place to stay! You are just far enough away that you feel in the middle of nowhere but you are within 10 minutes of downtown Boone and APP state! Would love to be the first one the owner calls when they want to sell it!

Perfect get away home
This home was the perfect set up for a girls trip. Open kitchen with plenty of space for multiple people to help prepare meals if needed. Three full bathrooms which accommodated 6 girls nicely. Plenty of beds and space. Amazing view! The road leading to the house is steep and gravel so be prepared for that, but the driveway is nicely paved with PLENTY of parking. Garage was essential for storing our bicycles and the hot tub was HOT! Would 10/10 recommend and hope to stay there again soon.

Cozy Winter Mountain Getaway
The Lazy Bear Inn was perfect for our family’s Christmas getaway. Location is close to downtown Boone and a short drive to snowboarding and skiing attractions. It was well stocked with ample space for five adults to easily co-exist. The fenced in backyard was also perfect for our fur legged friends. The only issue we had was lack of any assistance with water access on the property when temperatures dropped to -8. It was a holiday weekend which makes slow response times understandable, but we were told someone would be out to the property to assist and no one showed up.

Secluded but not Isolated
Wonderful location. Far enough outside of downtown Boone for a country feel but convenient to shopping and amenities. Lovely views. Loved having cows for neighbors.

Great house!
We had a great stay at this house. It’s well stocked with all the things you need. Everything seemed brand new. It’s about 15 min outside of Boone and 30-40 min to Hawks Nest, Beech Mtn and Grandfather Mtn. We would definitely stay here again.
