Charming cottage in the heart of Amish County

Our cozy 4 bedroom home will be the perfect getaway for families, couples or ladies getaways. We are located in the heart of Sugarcreek with easy access to restaurants, bakeries, shopping, wineries, entertainment and cheese.

There are 4 upstairs bedrooms (3 Queen beds, 2 twin beds, and 1 kids tent with twin mattress). Full bath upstairs, with shower and tub.

Downstairs we have a daybed and trundle, which can accommodate 2 people. This is helpful for those that do not feel comfortable walking up the steps. Downstairs full bath includes a shower only.

The large living area has plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy the 52" HD smart television with Hulu/Netflix accounts. High speed Wi-Fi is included. The fully renovated kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, fridge, coffee pot and toaster. Basic pots and pans, along with dishes are provided. The dining room can seat 6 people with plenty of room to eat in the living area also.

Nice patio with small tables and chairs and a fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs. Bring your own wood.

Small pets (under 40 lbs.) are welcomed for an additional fee. Please clean up after them outside.

Good time but needed a few improvements
First impressions are critical and the outside of the home badly needed cleaning; entry door very dirty, brown cobwebs hanging from the back porch ceiling. The inside was nice and clean, great TV, beds very comfortable. Very hot water which was nice. The bedrooms needed more storage. Biggest disappointment was the kitchen. We fix several of our own meals, but the availability of utensils was extremely limited. Biggest surprise was the absence of china. There were a couple of plastic picnic plates and bowls. We fixed spaghetti the first night and had to work to make sure there was no stain left in the plastic bowls from the tomato sauce. Details matter to me and to others, I'm sure. Don't mean to be too hard on the owner, but some of these things should be addressed and they really wouldn't cost that much.

The outside of the home and yard had a lot to be desired. The screen door was broken, windows were in bad shape, landscape was overgrown. The inside was fair.

The house is in a great location with easy access to Sugarcreek, Walnut Creek, and Berlin. The house was a little smaller, but easily accommodated our party of 6. The only suggestion I would make, would be to update some of the mattress's. Others than that, it was an overall nice house and one I would stay at again.

This is the first time we stayed in a house versus a hotel. We’ve been coming to Amish country for the last 4 years and staying in a hotel. For what you pay for a hotel room this was a much better choice. I wish we would have done it sooner. We had all of the comforts of home. It was decorated so nicely and very comfortable. Plus we were able to bring our furry friend. She totally enjoyed running around in the backyard. The only downside was not having curtains for privacy in the kitchen and dining area since it is in a busy traffic area. Which the owners told us they would be taking care of that soon. As far as contacting owners, they were always quick to respond to whatever questions we had. They were very nice. We definitely will comeback for a stay!

Great getaway for annual girls trip
The home was welcoming, clean and in a perfect location. The home was spacious and came with many ammenities. Owner was very responsive and great with communication. Definitely recommend this rental for reunion of friends but we all tallked about how it could be great for couples and families too!

My wife and I went to Frankenmuth for an extended weekend trip to celebrate my wife's birthday and our anniversary! She wanted to go to Bronners and see the area! We had a great time and this home was perfect for our stay! When we arrived we were greeted inside by birthday and anniversary wishes which really made us feel at home! Nice home for a girls getaway
This was our annual girls weekend to Holmes County. The home we typically stay at was getting tough because there was no bathroom on the second floor, with cus getting older, it was a bit of an issue. This home accommodated all of us with a bathroom on both floors, it was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Being on the “Y” it was traffic noisy for some but not others. The only downside I had was the steps to the back door, for those of us with bad knees/hips, there was nothing to hold onto for balance, but we made it work!

The house was very beautiful, love the updating, very spacious, lots of comfortable beds, nice, neat and clean! Only thing I would add is a washer and dryer and a few more curtains! Would definitely recommend this beautiful home. The only reason I gave the outside force stars was because of the landscaping, just really needed a little tlc.

Not as listed, rude host!
Pictures only show the decent side of the property. When we pulled in trash was overflowing from the outside trash can onto the driveway, weeds were growing up all sides of the house, the grass needed cut, the garage had a broken window, there was no screen on the screen door. The keyless lock worked to get in the first night, however, did not lock after that, it started beeping and would not turn off. When the host was contacted about the lock not working properly they instructed me if I did not like it that I could leave. The inside did not have curtains on half of the windows, there was very few towels, no hanger in the downstairs bathroom to hang them on. They had a closed door that had an odd smell coming from behind it, when it was opened there was piles of endless dirty laundry. The bedrooms did not offer any dressers or anywhere to put your belongings.
