We have stayed at this hotel several times in years past. It's convenient for us to meet with family. The facility is older but still in fairly good shape. Stay was quite and accommodating
Checked in after a football
Game late. All dispenser with soap, shower gel, etc were empty. The shower was not clean. Other than that thw room was nice.
Late arrival and up and out early so can’t critique on much. Front desk clerk was good and the lobby and entrance well kept. Bathroom was clean but tub/shower did look a little worn. Only negative thing was no where to hang bath towel after showering and water going out on the floor. The shape of the tub prevented shower liner from doing its job. Had to use one of the two hand towels on the floor.
Although the property was relatively clean and the check-in was quite easy, we found a couple of problems with the room. The toilet tank dripped all night long and so we had to keep the door closed to cut the noise. Also, the shampoo dispenser was either empty or did function. Both of these were reported.
I stayed for 4 nights and no one ever came to clean my room and replenish towels whatsoever! Was very disappointed in that, I had to go to the desk and ask for clean towels.
About 24 hours prior to our arrival, we received an email with misleading information:
masks were required
registration for swimming was required
no pets were allowed.
Since we booked the hotel because of the pool and because it was described as "pet friendly" this caused some anxiety. Fortunately, none of the three measures applied to this hotel. Please make sure that any information sent in advance of a stay is accurate!
No soap in the whole hotel to wash hands after using the restroom. Was told to use the shower gel. Was told they’d been out for a month. Only 1 bath towel in the room -was given a ridiculous reason they have to order more. Lobby smell of cigarette smoke when I came back in the evening. Gave me the key to a room that had not yet been cleaned. I packed up my stuff , checked out and drove home all night without ever staying. Awful experience. So disappointed in Hampton Inn. They are usually consistent. Sending a letter to Hilton who is the parent company. Wow just wow!!
Stressful check-in. Desk clerk didn't understand Expedia room was pre-paid and began charging room again.
$50 Pet fee is not Pet friendly. More like Pets allowed for a big fee.
Spider or some bug lurking in the ceiling. Had to get a step ladder and broom to clean it out My wife thought we should check for bed bugs, so we did but didn't see any. Checked in at10 on a long trip home but was stressed by the time I got to bed, didn't sleep that well.My suggestion is don't book this hotel, just move on to another.
