We had freezing rain/ice overnight. The sidewalks and parking lot were salted by 730am that morning making it safe for walking.

This was a decent stay. When we booked it was called Cobblestone. When we got there it was the Quality Inn. I’m not sure if this was a purchase or something else going on. They’ve done some work on the property for sure, our room had a few updates like the bathroom area. The carpet was very old, and the heat unit was also old and gave the room a fairly unpleasant odor when it ran. Free breakfast was limited. The pancake machine didn’t operate all that well, they had to fix it a few times. Expedia should ask hotels to describe the breakfast if it’s offered so people know what they’re getting. But it was good enough for what we needed. The area the hotel is in is great, super close to Hwy 2 which is what we needed, a short drive into superior to tons of restaurant options. Hotel had a pool which was great, but no pool towels which is odd because you’re not supposed to bring one from the room? Not a big deal. We would stay here again for sure. Easy access to everything we needed and they don’t gouge on rates like their neighbors across the Harbor.

I stayed at this hotel with my family. We went to Duluth to go visit Bentleyville. I rented two rooms and when we got there at 3 PM, we were notified that our rooms were not ready. They were still being cleaned, which was not a problem after waiting 25 minutes at the front desk for the receptionist to even come down to check us in. When we did get into our room I went into the bathroom and there was dried blood on the toilet seat and my daughter went to use the microwave and we found the alarm clock inside the microwave. The sheets had dried up stains on them and when I went down to the front desk to let them know, they really didn’t do much about it. They just said we’ll send house cleaning up to clean it which I thought was kind of funny being that they just got done “cleaning” our room. Also, the pool area was very dark, dingy and dirty. The jets in the hot tub did not work and the breakfast area was a joke! would not recommend this hotel at all. The following morning, when we went to check out, I asked to speak to management and let them know about our problems while we were there, hoping we would get some type of compensation back, but they did nothing and couldn’t even give me a receipt for my stay.

Was a nice hotel overall. No elevator. Best part was that they will make (frozen) pizzas at the front desk, they were delicious! The pool was nice and warm, room was clean, breakfast was simple but good!

Had a nice time. Rooms are a big. My only wish is that breakfast had a few more options. Staff was wonderful. Although someone did hit out truck in the parking lot and was a coward and did not come forward and leave their info. Hoping the cameras picked it up. Would stay here again!

Easy access on and off Hwy 2 going to duluth. The check-in staff was very friendly. Easy to park close to room. Pool, sauna and hot tub were a nice relaxation after a long drive, day. Didn't seem that crowded, so easy to find parking and not noisy. The breakfast area was large enough to hold all who showed up, and there was other seating nearby if it was crowded. Typical continental breakfast goodies. The automated pancake maker was cool to watch and the pancakes tasted ok, with 3 types of syrup to choose from. Better than waffle makers at other hotels which often stick and are to crusty. The keyless door entry (room and outside door) system was ok, but often didn't work on the first, or second try. The room actually was quickly cleaned and beds made, which is unusual now for some places after a nights stay. The cleaning staff was also very honest as I had left something somewhat valuable in the room and it had been turned in to the front desk so i could easily retieve it - when i finally figured out where i had left it.
