The Cube is funny hotel. Its a bit more like the dorm of a Red Brick Uni somewhere. Clearly designed for the youngish and athletic, if you're coming here to ski or board in the winter or cycle and hike in the summer, its beyond perfect. the rooms are functional on purpose, with a lobby to each to store your gear. The rooms themselves are kind of upmarket hostel, starting to slightly fray at the edges. But hey, the standard of 3/4 star accommodation in switzerland is so chintzy that a bit of worn carpet tile maybe fine after a long day at it. So, if you're looking for a modern-ish, no frills place to hang out ( theres a bar and goodish snacks in the evening, excellent buffet brekkie to carb-up for the hike ahead ), a young adventure sports crowd and fancy being living a 127 Hours kinda lifestyle, this is it
