Charming Cottage on Suttons Bay - Pet Friendly

Northern Delight offers families a peaceful up north vacation in a spectacular location with private lake and dock access to the sandy shores of Suttons Bay. This home is situated a short distance from downtown Suttons Bay and close to the Traverse Area Recreational Trail (TART). This home is a 2 bedroom, one bathroom home that can accommodate up to 5 guests (with use of the pull out couch in the living room). Families will enjoy the spectacular view of the water from the front porch. This sandy bottomed lake will provide hours of entertainment, fun in the sun and memories to last a lifetime. The home boasts a large front and back yard giving the family plenty of space to enjoy. Guests may bring a well behaved family dog to join in on the fun (for an extra pet fee).

The quaint town of Suttons Bay is a great place to take in a movie, visit local eateries, shops and get a frozen treat on a hot summer day. With such close access to the TART trail, we invite guests to bring their bikes and jump on this beautiful trail that connects Suttons Bay to Traverse City and other small towns. If you don't have the ability to bring your own bike, there are local places that will deliver the bikes to your home for your use. With ample parking for a trailer in the driveway, guests can feel inclined to bring their own boat to spend days floating around on Suttons Bay. There is so much to do in the area and it is a vacation destination that you will not regret.

At night we recommend guests build a fire in the pit at the private beach, lounge in the beach chairs and plan the next day's adventure. With so many great locations surrounding Suttons Bay, we have endless suggestions. Drive to Northport point and visit the lighthouse, Traverse City is a mere 20 minutes away to great dining, shopping, and downtown. Cut over to Glen Arbor and visit the National Sleeping Bear Sand dunes. Or just spend the day relaxing at this clean, comfortable home. Whatever you decide to do - boredom will not be the option!

Please note that this home is rented for your quiet enjoyment. Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.

We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and/or dishwasher tabs if a dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.
