The Churchill comprises two buildings - the hotel accommodation in one ( as shown in the photo ) and a pub/restaurant a very short walk away . The latter offers a normal bar and reasonably priced meals . The hotel itself is well located a couple of miles from a junction on the M4. It is quiet ( the motorway can be seen in the far distance ) and the rooms are modern with a well equipped bathroom and a comfortable bed.
Used as base for the weekend to visit the Royal International Air Tattoo. Room was spacious and clean,toilet and shower was cleaned each day and spotless. I would recommend this hotel .
The restaurant had nearly fun out of food , including all types of steaks , which meant no mixed grill , so very limited for evening meals . Next delivery was expected in 3 days / Friday . Breakfast was ok

Very comfy beds , ok for one night passing through area.
The toilet seat was broken and moved all over the place and the towels smelt awful
Shame there was no chef! Had to get taxis to get food, otherwise the staff were amazing, felt sorry for them as think it was down to poor management (the lack of food)
Lovely room. Excellent reception staff. Unfortunately cooked breakfast was unavailable in the adjoining restaurant due to lack of chef however hotel staff could not have been more abliging and we had the continental breakfast instead, which was superb. Will do definitely visit again, mainly because the hotel reception staff were so friendly and welcoming
