The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. The gym was well equiped and the pool/sauna/steam room provided a great opportunity to relax. The Club Room was perfectly adequate for two people and came with a sofa, which did allow us the opportunity to sìt while in the room. Breakfast came with plenty of choices.

Great modern hotel, with quirky features and swimming pool with a hot tub. We went to the Swindon Designer outlet Christmas shopping. We came back and ate out at the Ridge which is across the road. The Village hotel is in a good Location for the entertainment park with free parking. The club room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Check out is at 11 would have preferred a later time. The bar restaurant had huge tv’s and cinema seats. The only negative was the hall carpet was worn. I would definitely stay at another Village hotel.

The stay at the village hotel in Swindon was okay ☺️ Sarah who was working on reception in the evening was fantastic, couldn’t do more for us! Unfortunately the room itself wasn’t great. It was very worn out and the carpet was stained and mucky. The lightning in the room wasn’t overly great (couldn’t see much at all.) Our room didn’t seem prepared for our stay - no tv remote, tea bag’s or milk. I know it’s not a high price hotel to stay in, but for £76 for the night it was still a bit of a disappointment. The breakfast was lovely and once again the staff were so welcoming and kind! I wouldn’t go back due to cleanliness and quality of the rooms. (The door to the balcony also didn’t close properly.)

The room was ok but cold. There wasn’t any heating on. I was too tired to complain . There was also much confusion at Dinner. I asked for a bar tab and offered my credit card . The barman refused and said he had my room number. Other staff couldnt get this and as a result I had two separate bills! Bizzare

The hotel is usually excellent in all areas however last night it took over an hour and a half to get my food to me. The staff were very apologetic and it was eventually dealt with very good. This will not stop me from returning to this hotel.
