Check in wasn’t as pleasant as I’d hoped. The woman was very stern and her energy wasn’t warm or inviting. Just not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Also really annoying there was literally no conditioner left in the large bottle attached to the wall when I showered, how can that be missed? Got locked out of our room as our key didn’t work after coming back from the pool so had to stand in wet swimmers and towels for 10 minutes until someone came. There was no apology from both the person on the phone (felt like I was a burden) and then again no apology from the guy delivering our new keys. Overall it was comfortable and facilities were great but just not up to the standard of a 5 star.

Rooms small but nicely renovated. Dinner in Glass brasserie was superb albeit service a little slow. Would have thought for the price and quality of the food and wine,service may have been a bit better

The first room I was assigned was lovely but next to the elevator bank and had excessive noise. This needs to be rectified or the rooms offered to hard of hearing customers or significantly discounted price. The final room was perfect albeit more expensive.

Had another wonderful stay at the Hilton Sydney. I love love love walking out the main door and into the QVB for some shopping! The staff were so lovely and the coffee cart in the lobby is a great way to start the day!

Family weekend stay
Very quick and was able to get an early check in. No lines which was great. Fast elevators. Room was good, bed, linen and pillows were comfortable. Hotel is in a great location. Only minutes to shopping and main attractions. Down side is gym, pool, steam room and sauna close early on the weekends. Staff able to give us a late check out the next day to enjoy amenities. Staff at Buffett breakfast are bright and bubbly. Myka made our day seeing happy and helpful hotel staff. Hot food was great. Very good selection of Pastries and fresh fruit. takeaway cups available to have takeaway coffee was bonus. Highly recommended.

Called ahead, explained I would need a quiet room as I was arriving on a red eye and they said no problem, so I booked it. Arrived, checked in, woke up two hours later to loud drilling and hammering. Turns out the hotel was under construction. They knew what I needed - several hours sleep in the morning - and despite knowing they could not provide what I needed, they booked me a room and took my money. Dishonest. Will not revisit. If you want a peaceful place to stay - AVOID.

This was our second time back within a few weeks. We loved the hotel and location the first time and proof to me is always in the second visit. It did not disappoint. Another perfect stay at The Hilton. Recognition from the hotel on our return visit. We booked 2 rooms to bring family and we all had a positive experience, Thank you for everything Hilton. Five stars all the way. We will be back. For anyone considering a stay, note this hotel is spacious, beds comfortable, lovely appointed bathrooms and amenities along with a fabulous location. Light rail at the door along with all shopping your heart desires. Only a short flat walk to the harbour. I am now a Hilton convert. Thank you we will be back
