It was perfect for our quick overnight stay. Would be too small for anything longer. Located around the corner from a metro stop and next door to a grocery store. Cheap and easy.
A fine lower-cost option with a very central location. Our room looked onto an interior light well so there was no street noise, though the neighboring flushes and showers were audible. No room service but the bistro and pub downstairs are open late, lots of other restaurants and a grocery store nearby.

Honeymoon
This hotel is a great location, easy to walk and close to public transportation. The rooms are smaller, so if you have a lot of luggage I would upgrade and get a suit. They do offer a discount in their restaurants for people who stay. Also, super close to the QVB building and definitely check out the world square for other fun dining.
We only had one snag with a manager who was very rude to my husband. We received a towel that had some stains on it and wanted to get another one. My husband was given a really hard time and the manager seemed very put out for such a small request. Even though we had a bad experience with him, we would stay there again.
Great welcome and room was clean and perfect location.
I was disappointed that I was unable to leave my luggage for the day of check out, instead I had to lug to my conference.
Close walk to train station. Room was extremely clean, sheets and bed were great. Security outside door and had to get manager from bar next door as we arrived late flight. He had no issues checking us in.
Overall a decent place to stay for a short few day (3 nights for me). The room is clean and so is the bathroom and the bed is comfy which is important to me. There is a balcony which may need a new coat of paint and spruced up a bit though. It is a minute or so walk to the Metro Townhall where you can just hop on a train to the airport after checkout. Also a plus is Woolworth next to it. The hotel is walking distance to places of interest or you can just hop on the light rail which runs frequently throughout the day.
There was some confusion checking in when I arrived. The main door to the hotel was closed and locked. I saw a couple of guests going in and out and one of them told me that no one’s at the reception desk and that I have to check in with a staff member behind the bar at the pub and bistro next door which is part of the hotel.
The downside with my stay is the noise at night. The windows are not well insulated from traffic and people milling around on the street. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they were workers drilling and jack-hammering across from the hotel creating quite a ruckus. Surprised they worked so late at night. Earplugs may come in handy at this time.
The service from the hotel manager, Travis, was exceptional. He was extremely helpful in advising on things to do in Sydney and transportation options. One of the highlights for us was that on arrival at 0900 hrs, our room was ready and we were able to get some immediate sleep after travelling for over 24 hours.
Really lovely staff - very helpful
The hotel has a Bistro with good food.
Room clean tidy and the hotel’s location is great for getting around whilst in Sydney
