I was unlucky and had a combination of live music and jackhammers at the construction site across the street keep me up. Fortunately they eventually stopped but it was a very noisy location at this time.

Great Location, but Noisy Nights I stayed at this hotel during my holiday, and its location was perfect – everything was within walking distance, and being right in the city center made exploring so easy. The hotel staff (Travis) was extremely helpful and made check in a breeze as well as gave a great description on what was going on in the area. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, which made it nice to come back to after long days out. However, there were a few downsides. The shower head was positioned way too low, and at 5 foot 9 inches, I had to bend down to use it. The bathroom sink was also very small, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the street noise at night, especially from loud music, made it difficult to sleep. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in a prime location and can tolerate a bit of noise, this hotel is worth considering.

This hotel is in a fantastic position, very close to public transport and easy to get around. The staff were lovely to deal with via email and on check in. Room was very clean and fitted out well. I did book in a rush so didn't notice that I was booking a room above a pub, the noise then being a bit of a pain. If you can sleep through jackhammers across the road, random people knocking on your door at 4.30am after they lock themselves out of their own room, and raves/concerts, then you'll be fine.

Perfect location pre cruise. 2 stops by subway from circular Quay with the train and Victoria Mall right across the street. Town Hall is around the corner and Woolworth made shopping for last minute essentials easy.

So, so convenient
You can't beat the location, mere metres from Sydney Town Hall and Town Hall station. Newly-renovated rooms have plenty of power points and plenty of hot water. The room are small but what do you actually need for a brief stay? It's my third time here since the renovations and it won't be the last.

Excellent location and recently refurbished. Stayed in a triple room and there was plenty of room. The bed was comfortable and the bar/bistro on the first floor perfect to sit and enjoy a few beers while watching the footy. A short 5 minute walk to the State Theatre. Would definitely stay here again!

Bedroom was adequate. Only one side table and lamp. Shower just fluctuating temperature. Bar staff cut my partner off after only four drinks. Quite embarrassing. We had been to Luna Park for hours then checked in got changed and then had one pre dinner drink, then went to the theatre. So standard pretty ordinary especially when there was a person that was there before we left for the theatre and still there when arrived back. Poor attitude towards a guest of the establishment 😔
