Handy for public transport
Stayed here before and came back because of it's handy location, 3 minutes to light rail and 5 to Town Hall station. If you're in a single room, there are a few steps to negotiate.

This hotel is only 2 minutes walk to the Westfield Mall on Pitt Street. 8 minutes walk to St. James train station. One can get to this hotel from the SYD airport by taking the train T8 from airport to St. James Station walk on Market Streeti/York Street, no need for a taxi. The staff here are nice people, good security, card entry for front door and room, but i do not like the room that i had. Because it is in a central location, the two weeks that i was there they were all sold out. i was unable to upgrade, no choice but having to stay in that room. My room was between floors, a serious mobility issue, because of my bad knee, no elevator access, having to drag my luggage to my room. This room is only for a solo traveler. It needs a lot of work, as i have to share my room with other species of animals. The good things are that i was able to enjoy Sydney CBD with excellent meals everyday, also a good sleep every night, living harmoniously with all the animals around me. I do not recommend this room to anyone at this time. As i booked this room back in June, 2024, they have penty of time to do all the work on it. Beware of things that go on sale at a discounted price. One would always get what they paid.
