The worse experience we had. Paid way expensive for one night, asking for a cancellation and told us to contact Travelocity so they can do something about it,then we contacted Travelocity telling us to contact Meriton Suites Sussex Street that if they agree we can do a refund.and they did not agree for us ending up we can't do anything about it,and the worse was the Sauna was out of order,which was one of the main reasons why we chose to book in Meriton Suites Sussex Street,we had so much stress dealing with this experience. One of the receptionist told us that we will wait and they will call someone to fix the sauna,yet we were there at the spa waiting for more than an hour and nobody came,fooling us with misinformation! We are just hard workers who wanted to relax and have sauna that is why we booked again in one of the Meriton Suites !what we paid was way too expensive for one night with the disappointment of wasn't able to have Sauna. We had to talk to the manager in charge saying "sorry for the inconvenience"? We were already frustrated even what they have offered us. We won't be coming here again! Some of the staffs are not friendly as well, asking me from which Country i came from in the very start that we are about to pay in the reception with our booking! What an arrogant manner!

I recently stayed at Meriton Suites Sussex Street, Sydney, and while the check-in process was excellent, my stay had a few notable issues. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and efficient, making the initial experience pleasant. However, the room itself had several problems that affected my overall comfort. The TV remote and hotel safe both had flat batteries, which was inconvenient. Additionally, there were no luggage racks provided, making it difficult to manage my belongings. To my surprise, the washing machine had someone else's underwear in it, which was quite off-putting. The alarm clock was set for 2 AM and couldn't be turned off, disrupting my sleep. On a positive note, the manager was very nice and apologetic about these issues. Her response was appreciated, but some attention to detail would significantly improve the guest experience. Overall, while the service was commendable, the room's shortcomings led to a less than ideal stay. I would rate my experience 3 out of 5 stars. With some improvements in room maintenance and cleanliness, this hotel has the potential to offer a much better experience.

Hotel was ok, but very underwhelming for the price we paid. Hardly any amenities in the room, had to ask reception for basics. Bathroom terribly laid out, not very functional. Terrible water pressure

We had a lovely time staying at the Meriton Suites during our trip. The staff were great, amenities were perfect, the location was excellent, the room was fine but the layout of it was super weird. Tiny bathroom far away from the tiny master bedroom and a office that no one asked for. I’d sack that architect.

Fantastic central location, short stroll to Darling Harbour. Stayed here for an event at ICC and was the perfect spot. Loads of nearby restaurants, car lift was fun!

We stayed for 5 nights in a studio apartment. Great service, clean, modern, quiet, comfy king size bed. Only negatives - needs a suitcase holder/stand, also needs a brighter light near bathroom mirror - way too dim for doing makeup etc. Handy location - short walk to Darling Harbour & just a few blocks walk to train & trams to Circular Quay etc. Great little cafe next door on the corner called Brew Bros. Excellent coffee, nice meals, friendly staff - had breakfast there most days.

Great place to stay
Arrived early and was able to check in early which was much appreciated. Room was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. King size bed was comfortable and great block out blinds. Lobby was beautiful and the technology for the lifts and carpark was impressive. For a pricey hotel it’d be great to see something free in the room as a bonus - a bottle of water even - but other than that suggestion, we were happy with everything.
