The worse experience we had. Paid way expensive for one night, asking for a cancellation and told us to contact Travelocity so they can do something about it,then we contacted Travelocity telling us to contact Meriton Suites Sussex Street that if they agree we can do a refund.and they did not agree for us ending up we can't do anything about it,and the worse was the Sauna was out of order,which was one of the main reasons why we chose to book in Meriton Suites Sussex Street,we had so much stress dealing with this experience. One of the receptionist told us that we will wait and they will call someone to fix the sauna,yet we were there at the spa waiting for more than an hour and nobody came,fooling us with misinformation! We are just hard workers who wanted to relax and have sauna that is why we booked again in one of the Meriton Suites !what we paid was way too expensive for one night with the disappointment of wasn't able to have Sauna. We had to talk to the manager in charge saying "sorry for the inconvenience"? We were already frustrated even what they have offered us. We won't be coming here again! Some of the staffs are not friendly as well, asking me from which Country i came from in the very start that we are about to pay in the reception with our booking! What an arrogant manner!

Clean and spacious self-contained apartments in a good central location close to Darling Habour. Great to have personal laundry facilities and the pool was fantastic. The room itself lacked a bit of personality being quite blandly decorated - mostly blank walls. Strange for a modern hotel to not have more USB charger sockets - this room had only one and it didn’t work.

Fabulous value for money in prime location. Lovely view from our apartment over Darling Harbour. Modern decor. Well equipped kitchen. Very spacious. Nothing about it we did not like, it was wonderful.

We stayed 7 nights in a 1 bedroom deluxe suite and found everything from the front desk staff to housekeeping and maintenance staff to be fantastic. Always ready to deliver if you need anything. The hotel is walking distance to the Sydney Harbour wharf which is a fabulous place to dine,take boat tours or sightsee. Would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone.

We asked for a taxi to be called for 6:30 in the morning for the day of our departure. We reminded the front desk staff the day of the departure and were down stairs at 6:25 to discover that a taxi was not requested for us. They called one for us and told us that it would be there by 6:38 but the taxi driver cancelled the trip as they were sitting in the back room were unaware of this. As I was now getting anxious I asked them to please monitor the situation until a taxi arrived. We were finally picked up about 7 am with no time to spare for luggage check in. Also our room was never cleaned over a 5 day period…. We finally just asked for clean towels and supplies.

Bathroom annoying as it was a wet room in every sense of the word as the shower curtain does not reach the floor so water shoots underneath and extends across the room, also there are no hooks for clothing so potential for wet clothes. On the whole a great stay

We had the studio suite and the room was a great size. Really modern with small kitchen and laundry facilities. The staff at reception were very helpful and the suites are really well located near to Darling Harbour which had some nice restaurants and bars, although the Quay is also walkable, at about 20 mins away. Couldn’t recommend this enough for comfort, location and space.
