Know before you go: if you need to use the airport pick up and drop off service from Moxy, you MUST make reservations well in advance of your stay. Otherwise you will likely need to take a cab to/from airport, I was able to make the reservation for pickup but didn’t have time to do the return to airport drop off. I was forced to take a cab because there were too many people needing transport between 7:30 am to 8:30 am. And this was on a Sunday. I complained to staff and said they needed to add another transport van for these times but the business issue was lost on them.

This is a really nice hotel with a free shuttle bus to the airport. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, friendly staff. Although it’s near the airport, the room is very quiet. It’s definitely the best hotel near the airport.

As a standard for every hotel or accommodation in Australia, they should be able to provide a tax invoice if requested. Their excuse is that it was booked from a 3rd party website. This is a terrible excuse! Likewise, Wotif is just as terrible for not being able to provide a tax invoice. Will not use Wotif again for bookings in the future. Nor stay at Moxy. It's very disappointing that a simple request is not fulfilled.

This is great for a one or two night stay. Rooms are small but functional, we has 2 doubles in ours. Shower was great, had a rain head and a removable, adjustable head. Laundry at the end of the hall had complimentary washing powder and extra towels easily accessible. Water and ice machines too. We had purchased microwave meals and we were able to heat these in the snack room. Overall, it was a great stay and I'd stay again.

We booked this hotel with the airport transportation. We arrived an hour earlier than the anticipated hotel airport shuttle pickup time and tried constantly for at least 20 minutes to call the hotel and no one answered. In the end, we decided to pay for a taxi to get us to the hotel because we were standing in the unbearable cold waiting for the hotel’s airport shuttle. When we got to the hotel, they told us that they could not refund the cost of my taxi fare as I booked with Expedia. When we got to our room, my key card did not work. We kept trying to use it until we realized that the room was occupied as a young lady opened to door to inform us of such. We had to return to the front desk and join a long queue to inform them of their mistake. The guy at the front desk admitted that he provided us with the wrong room number. We ordered dinner from the hotel cafe/restaurant and they even that they got wrong and had to re-make my order. Given that we arrived at 8pm and were checking out at 5am the next day, overall this was a horrible experience and I will never stay at the Moxy again. The room by the way was very cramped and definitely not worth the price.
