We have stayed here a few times. This time though I wasn't happy with a couple of things. The wall near the bed had mould and possible water damage from the bathroom. A couple of times I asked for the manager but never heard from them. One night I had no hot water and when they came in to refresh the room, I thought they would have given us clean towels. I was a bit disappointed that breakfast was only on the weekends. The breakfast pack wasn't all that good.It needs to be refurbished. I can say it's close to shops and transport.

Small but economical and clean choice
When we arrived around 9pm, the door of hotel was closed but there was an instruction telling us to go to the bar next to the hotel. We needed to drag our luggages there and then dragged it back to get in. Would have been better if there is a doorbell or intercom. The location is not far away from the MRT station. It is a small hotel without lift/elevator so you'll have to walk upstair with your luggage. The room is clean and spacious and quiet at night but would get noisy due to the traffic early in the morning. Be reminded, the breakfast offered by hotel is a simple pack with cereal, milk and juice in the room. Having said that, the price is pretty economical so for anyone only needs a place to stay over, it's still a good choice.

It did nor have a record of my last minute booking. So too for another guest booking in at the same time. Receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Made me wait half an hour only to say no room was available. No offer to assist finding alternative accommodation. I don’t expect five star service at The Ranch but a little human decency would have been appreciated.

I liked it was close to a shopping centre and there was a restaurant and bar attached. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and I loved the shower, with the big showerhead. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
