I was most grateful for the room upgrade that the kind receptionist gave me, as I am elderly and had a heavy suitcase. A small problem with the kitchen cupboards though, I could not reach the top ones

Excellent location near cruise terminal. Only disappointment was no restaurant and no bar but that was our fault for not checking. Another Rendezvous we have stayed I had a bar and restaurant so it pays not to make assumptions.

The hotel needs a little love,but clean,and the location is great. We easily walked from the cruise port with 2 big suitcases. The king size bet was comfortable, and the shower was great. We’ll stay here again.

I had a great stay. The staff were very friendly. I was in a Queen Terrace, so there was an upstairs with a narrow staircase. As we don’t use the same terminology in the US, I didn’t know that. It was fine for me, but might have been a problem for others. I sleep with earplugs, so if there was street noise, I didn’t hear it.

Best part about this hotel is the location to the Cruise Terminal. We stayed here before and after our Carnival Splendor cruise. Don't expect a 5 star property. Yes it's clean, however the rooms need a few minor repairs. There was tile missing at the entry to the bathroom and a late night trip to the toilet ended up with a stubbed toe. The bed in room 211 was much more comfortable than the room we had prior to the cruise.. that bed was hard. Careful when using the hot water...it is extremely hot! If you're only looking for a basic room before or after a cruise, this fits the bill.

Check in was easy and staff very friendly. The location is awesome as so convenient to circular quay and many restaurants. Stayed a couple nights before a cruise and was so easy to get to the cruise terminal. Room was a little dated but the bed was comfy and the shower was lovely. The AC needs updating but still worked fine. Having a kitchen was convenient. No view at all but we didn’t spend much time in the room. Would def consider this place again.
