Loved this hotel. The views can’t be beat. It’s a historic feeling hotel right on the water. Also had guest laundry facilities, which I’ve never really used while traveling before but had to because of the pigeons in the harbor.

I know this is a Heritage-listed property and remodeling is nearly impossible. That being said, however, there is a lot lacking in the room. The furniture is dated. The artwork is faded. On the otherhand, we couldn't possibly get a better view.

The location of the property is fabulous as it is in the heart of The Rocks. We walked everywhere, with the bridge and Opera House popping into view at almost every turn. It’s quite close to the Circular Quay station too. The property is looking a little tired, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the rooftop pool looked great.

The hotel is in a great location for seeing all the sights in Sydney. To wake up to a fantastic view of the Sydney Opera House was amazing. The hotel itself is in need of renovation (particularly the bathroom in our case). Nevertheless, it is a great hotel and is ideally situated and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location, a bit old room though
This hotel is in great location and walking distance to Opera house, botanic garden, shopping centers,... The mattress and equipment in the room looks for more a 3 start hotel than 4. Breakfast and service is good.

Great facility with wonderful staff. The location was outstanding. Just steps away from loads of wonderful restaurants, the Circular Quay, week-end street market. Loved this location. A little noisy on Saturday night (our room was on the second floor), but the noise was tolerable after we shut our window. Highly recommend.

loved the hotel but was disappointed to find no soap in our room,had to call and was told they were out of stock,they did manage to somehow find some and brought it to our room. but overall, a lovely hotel with an amazing buffet breakfast.

I am going to request a refund for valet parking I wasn’t informed it was $75/night The staff member that was going to get my car handed me the keys to get it myself as she couldn’t drive a manual When I went to get in my car it was parked so close to a wall I had to climb in from the passenger side to get into the driver seat
