It was inexpensive, but not so flash. For instance there were buckets in several places catching drips from the leaking roof. The London Savoy it is a not.

It was clean however the bed very hard and a bit lumpy, the pillows very hard. The hotel is very very tired and definitely in need of a makeover! Convenient location though.

The hotel was so much nicer than I expected! The bed was very comfortable and warm. Every night when I returned everything was cleaned and organized so well. The staff was very helpful with answering all my questions. I also love how there was a kitchen area in the lobby that makes preparing quick breakfast, or in my case one night ramen, easy! My favorite part of my stay was the convenient location. There were several restaurants and stores right below and the public transportation is fairly easy to walk to! It’s an easy bus ride to Bondi beach and rose bay. And a quick train ride to the city. There’s also a park less than 5 minute walk from the hotel and the double bay beach wharf is about 7 mins. My only complaint was the laundry facility. It was just one room and the dryer was outside in the lobby area. Not very private for doing my laundry. But it got the job done! Overall, I would definitely choose to stay here again if I’m ever in the area.
