The hotel is beautiful and so are the staff. The only downfall, which proved to be incredibly annoying were the lifts. There’s approx 6 lifts in the hotel (as advertised) but only 2 seem to work. You wait quite a while for the lift to get to you. And, of course, many don’t know lift etiquette (you let the people who’ve waited the longest get into the lift first). I averaged (over the weekend) to wait at least 9-10 minutes for each lift service. The views from high floor are nice however, you get the same view, same room quality and quicker lift wait times at the Sofitel.
