Take it easy at this tranquil, wooded, beautifully landscaped getaway with 180 feet directly on the lazy shallow Tuckaseegee River in the lush mountains of western North Carolina. Close to Western Carolina University, greenway, downtown Sylva, Webster, Cullowhee and Dillsboro in Jackson County.

Bring your fly rod and catch trout from the back yard! River is stocked with trout seasonally. Jump in and enjoy river tubing down to the Locust Creek river access 1/2 mile downstream. (approximately 1 hour float) Or put in upstream and float back down to the house (approximately 2 hours). In winter, ski Maggie Valley and Sapphire and ride the train in Bryson City!

Snuggle up in four cozy bedrooms with 3 king beds and 2 twins with 100% white cotton sheets. Two full bathrooms with tubs, showers and bidets include towels, soap, shampoo, and hairdryers. The large kitchen is well stocked with Keurig and drip coffee makers, microwave, air fryer, dishes, glassware, pots and pans for the chef. Two large porches are perfect for watching the river flow past the back yard, listening to nature or doing absolutely nothing.

You will feel right at home with the curated decor, Wifi, smart TV, gas fireplace, a/c and heat. A public paved road leads to the house with ample parking in the large U-shaped driveway with 2 entrances. Feels like you're far away from it all but Walmart, Lowes, gas stations, groceries, downtown restaurants, breweries and UWC are all less than a 10 minute drive.
