It was in a very central part of Ortigia. Very easy to get everywhere and the propeety felt secure and was very quiet. We saw a few other guests in the courtyard who were very nice.

Getting to this apartment is challenging, but it's worth the effort. The owner was very helpful, providing instructions for self-check-in and where to park my rental car. The apartment is very comfortable with a full kitchen and espresso machine.

Central location, exceptional service
Extremely central apartment, you really feel like you’re in the middle of Siracusa. The upstairs area of the apartment was hot but we got a fan upon request which solved the problem. The host could not have been more helpful and communicative - he kindly came and collected us from the parking garage. Note for guests - make sure you have parking organized before you arrive! Plenty of room, full kitchen, right next door to restaurants and a bar that can be noisy, but adds to the ambience.

Great location and cute deco. property very clean and steps from everything in Ortigia (which is less than a sq. Km. Check-in a little bumpy but ok. The owner is very responsive. Only comment on property is a moisture smell but I guess it is often the case in Ortigia..it is part of the experience.

Lovely room and in centre
Small courtyard and lovely clean room. Right in the centre. Parking is a 15 min walk away and costs 10 euros a day ( public car park ) - enter parking at second entrance the one with barrier not first. First is ticket purchase and second is pay when u leave. Our car was fine but car park full of homeless 😞. The room was lovely and clean will all anyone would need. Location is perfect. Owners helpful and welcoming 👍😊

The flat is in a great location, a minute's walk from the Cathedral square which is lively and stunning. It was clean and well-equipped, the bed was large and really comfortable and Ignazio, the owner is great; with plenty of useful tips about the best places to go. It's not easy to drive there unless you have a very small car, so after dropping off the bags we chose to park in the main car park on the edge of Ortigia, it was only 10 Euros / day and a 10 minute walk through the town from the flat.

This apartment was amazing! Perfectly located very central in Ortigia- walkable to everything! The host was there to welcome me and he & his girlfriend were very friendly and helpful, incl inviting me to join them for lunch. Loved having my own kitchen (incl gas stove) to cook meals. Was very spacious and extremely comfortable. There was some confusion about the cleaning fee - Hotels.com need to make clear about this - that it is included.

Perfect central location and elegant desigb
Spent a perfect ten day vacation in central Oritagia courtesy of 1743 loft. Brilliant modern design in a historic building, very chic and comfortable. Hosts Iggnatzio and Vera are caring and attentive, really enjoyed their wine trip and Mount Etna.

Very Nice, but..
The room we stayed in was a ground floor room with a door directly onto an alley. The room had been recently renovated and was very nice. We visited in March and the weather was cold. The AC unit did not provide heat regardless of mode it was placed into (possibly user error). The unit does come with very nice fuzzy blankets to snuggle up in. The unit has moisture issues. This results in an annoying musty smell and the needed dehumidifier runs constantly disturbing what would otherwise be a peaceful stay.

Fantastisk beliggenhet, fin bakgård og fine fasiliteter. Stor plass og kjøkkenet fungerer godt. Veldig enkelt å kommunisere med verten, og fikk gode tips til ting å gjøre i området. Litt lite toalettpapir, og tidvis feststøy fra naboleiligheten. Ortigia, som er området leiligheten befinner seg i, aefales på det varmeste. Leiligheten er ca 2 min gange fra stranden og det samme gjelder en rekke restauranter, m.m. Ca 20 min gange fra togstasjonen.

Monolocale "vicoletto"
Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana nel loft chiamato Vicoletto. Carino, con tutto ciò che serve e pulitissimo, ma nota dolente estremamente umido e senza finestre se si tolgono la porta a vetro d'ingresso che dovevamo tenere chiusa in quanto si affaccia su un vicolo dove passano comunque persone e qualche auto, e una finestrina vasistas in alto accanto. Noi abbiamo girato molto e quindi vi abbiamo trascorso poco tempo durante le giornate, ma l'appartamento è troppo buio e umido e senza un angolo fuori dove poter far asciugare un costume. Sicuramente può andar bene per un paio di notti, ma non certo per una settimana con anche una bambina al seguito. Divano letto comodo, letto matrimoniale scomodissimo. Anzi consiglio di cambiare il materasso. Sicuramente gli altri due appartamenti dentro la corte saranno stati più luminosi e confortevoli, ma questo nel vicolo no. Il ragazzo dell'agenzia che ci ha ricevuto gentile e buono anche il servizio di parcheggio. Ortigia bellissima.
