Not worth the extra cost of a “fancy” hotel. The lobby is lovely but everything else looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 90’s and the neighborhood isn’t safe for walking anywhere. Daily fee for parking but weekend events use their parking lots so you may not get what you are being charged for. Not a horrible experience, but I also won’t recommend it.

Great Service
I arrived well ahead of check in time but was able to check in straight away which was very welcome after a long flight. My 8th floor room was spacious and clean with a very comfy bed, a good shower and plenty of coffee. I went down to the bar to get some work done in the evening and the service was excellent. All in all a great hotel offering very good value.

Property was beautiful and staff was wonderful. I appreciated the text communications before and after check-in, it was a nice touch that really elevated the whole experience. One thing, and it’s small - we stayed on a Saturday night where there was a wedding at the hotel and the poor bartender got slammed after 10:30. He seemed to handle it well but it just meant everyone waited a long time for drinks. Other than that the stay was terrific!

Nice room, cool art
Nice hotel a block from the convention center. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Tacoma Art Musuem and Museum of Glass. The hotel has nice glass theming and displays on every floor. Clean room with space to move around.

Downtown Tacoma
The Hotel Murano in located in downtown Tacoma near the museum district and is walkable, albeit a little hilly. It is near many restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and had a mini bar. The bed was a little too soft for my liking but still decent. The mini fridge in the room was very welcomed. I would stay here again.

Everything would be great if we didn't have to interrupt our stay due to very small beds. We always share beds as a family, but double beds in Murano Hotel felt much smaller. Therefore we felt like ripped off for the price we pay and stay we got. No pool, fitness center is very small, no breakfast, and even parking is extra $26 for each night. We did like restaurant on site, views, cleanness and easy in and out. Would NOT recommend this hotel.
